Tres Arroyos began as a simple farmhouse built in 1933 and since then, has been thoughtfully updated and restored to represent over five generations of California heritage. The property sits at the base of beautiful foothills two miles from the Silverado Country Club, and boasts a swimming pool, over 60 acres of vineyards, and sweeping views of the Napa valley. The north-facing French-style vineyard produces Cabernet grapes for Far Niente, Mondavi, Honig, BV, and other esteemed varietals. The views from the main house and pool area travel the full length of the Napa valley, all the way to majestic Mt. St. Helena. At Tres Arroyos, you will be surrounded by vineyards, oak trees, and mountains, as far as the eye can see.
Solitude and Civilization: At Tres Arroyos, you'll be able to enjoy quiet country relaxation while remaing near to it all. Enjoy access to Napa's culture, including the Oxbow Farmer's Market, the Napa wine train, music, shopping, the renowned downtown restaurants of Napa, and a plethora of other options within a 15 minute drive from the property.
Recreational activities including fishing, horseback riding, hiking, golf, and cycling are all available within a 5 mile radius. Not to mention,San Francisco, with everything a legendary city has to offer, is but a scant one hour drive from Tres Arroyos.
A Rustic, Elegant House.: Life has simplicity here, and style at Tres Arroyos revolves around the appreciation of nature, comfortable furnishings, and an uncluttered approach. Guests love the unique decor, the asymmetrical roof lines, french doors that open to the protected porches and patios, and the warm palette of interior colors. Tres arroyos has been designed to feel like your perfect vacation destination, and the house is filled with books, antiques, and art that reflect the california heritage of the property.

We brought three generations of our family together from all corners of the country for a long weekend at Tres Arroyos. It's hard to imagine a more perfect spot for all ages and inclinations. Tucked into the hills among working vineyards, and yet a convenient drive or bike ride from downtown Napa, the location is ideal. The house is charming, elegant and exudes a wonderful family history. We found it well maintained, comfortable, and relaxing. This is truly an authentic Napa experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our group of seven had an absolutely amazing stay. The property was clean, in a great location, well kept and even more beautiful than the photos. It was the perfect home base from where we could tour the surrounding area, visit wineries and just relax. We were able to spend mornings on the porch eating breakfast with beautiful views, explore the property and cook dinners in the kitchen and on the grill. The dining room, kitchen and other living space more than accommodated our group with plenty of room to spare for evening games and activities. The owners were thoughtful, helpful and responsive with everything in working order including detailed instructions (i.e. how to use the internet…although in retrospect it is the last thing that I should have been doing in such a place!). I highly recommend this property to family, friends and anyone else!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Our extended family found ourselves having to spend a weekend in Napa - rather than reserve multiple hotel rooms, we decided to rent a house. We stumbled upon Tres Arroyos....the pictures are magnificent, but do not fully capture the beauty and essence of the house. It's perched on a hill top overlooking a vineyard with expansive views of the valley. It has the feel of a bed and breakfast, but completely private. The decor is updated and pulled together well. Kitchen is well stocked and linens were very comfortable. The owners were incredibly accommodating (met us at the house after 11pm to check in) and even circled back to us a couple of times during our stay. We highly recommend the house + will certainly be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

" The Sproul family commissioned me to photograph their Napa estate in the Fall of 2011. Fall is not only a beautiful time in the Napa Valley but the light is terrific for photographing the vineyards and outdoor features of this lovely home. My wife, Jasmine, and I shoot real estate property for advertising and for promotional purposes. We've been in magnificent homes all around the Bay Area. The Sproul vineyard home is in a league of its own...rustic, elegant, and quintessential Napa living. The house itself is situated on a small hill and offers spectacular views all the way up the Napa Valley to Mt. St. Helena. My wife went to a spa with a friends while I took photographs and we all went into Napa ten minutes away for memorable dinners each night. I recommended that the Sprouls upgrade their kitchen and increase the size of the beds all of which they have done since our stay. I would recommend this spot for anybody who wants to experience Napa at its finest."Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is one of the most amazing properties I have visited in quite some time. Immediately on entering there is a distinct "I am home" feel that makes it very difficult to leave, believe me. Spending time here with friends and family is a wonderful experience...the guesthouse is adorable, the main house is grand, and the property is perfect for morning (or evening) walks. When I was there, I couldn't help but notice the photographs that line the walls...fantastic shots of a woman and her horses. When I inquired further, I learned the full story, and let me just say that it is is rich in history, home and heart.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
