Popular Tradewinds full two bedroom, two bath condominium, sleeping 6. Ours is a true Gulf-front & pool-front unit, some others in the building are Gulf-view.
If you remember this as a coral-colored building, you won't recognize it now! We've gone uptown with a classy green and beige exterior, all new doors, windows, railings & landscaping - the building is literally like new!
Recent updates in our unit (Nov, '07, Feb, '08):
-freshly painted & decorated master and guest baths,
-freshly painted closets
-cabinet hardware updated
-digital entry on front door w/ private code (4/07)
-safety latch on front door
-all new linens (towels and sheets)
-fully stocked kitchen, many new items
-and black-out drapes in the living area (!!!) for the lucky ones!
-new chairs for balcony (4/08)
Great for families with children because of 1st floor location (one floor above ground-level) and proximity to pool. The condo was recently Designer redecorated for a luxurious safari-feel in the living area (see Photos). There is a black leather queen-size sleeper sofa, entertainment center with TV, & DVD(cable). Each bedroom has a queen bed. Master bedroom has TV & DVD (cable). Guest room has a TV with DVD & VCR but no cable at this time. All beds are furnished with 300 or higher thread count bed linens.
The private balcony directly overhangs and overlooks the pool and the Gulf so if the kids forget something, just toss it to 'em! There is an indoor pool with swim-thru to the outdoor pool right beneath our unit. Condominium project is nine years old and recently refurbished since Hurricane Ivan in 2004.
Lots of local shopping and activities for the kids: Laser tag right across the street! Grocery shopping and restaurants very convenient.
ADDITONAL RENTAL INFORMATION:
* Must be 25 or older to rent unit; Adults & families only.
* $300 refundable reservation/security deposit due within one week of making reservation; $500 deposit for snowbird rentals
* Full rental price + 11% Lodging Tax due 14 days prior to reservation date. $85 cleaning fee. $15 car registration (max 2)
* Weekly rentals only mid-March thru Oct; weekly rental only for Thanksgiving week (11/19-11/26) ; 3 night minimum otherwise
* No Smoking and No Pets

Should the property rental be transferred to a rental management company in the area, original terms of any rental agreement will be honored.
Any building of this size may have maintenance, repairs or improvements made from time to time. Examples may include but are not limited to elevators, pool heaters, vandalism to building or grounds. Even nearby construction may be distracting but not under the contral of our Association. Individual owners have very little voice as to timing. We will disclose anything that we are aware of that could cause your vacation to be less than perfect. But, just as with the weather, cable or utility outages, etc .... some things are outside of our control.

We loved the condo and all the little extra touches. Nice, clean and well maintained. The beaches were beautiful and easily accessible from the condo. Great place - we will be back.

Just got back from this wonderful condo! Scott was great to work with before and after our stay. The location of the condo was great. The condo itself was very clean. We are already planning to come back next year.

Beautiful condo! Loved the entry pad, it was so nice not to keep up with keys. Loved the black out curtains in the bedroom. I didn't realize how late I could sleep! We had a wonderful time. The beach, water and weather were beautiful. Thanks for letting us stay.

You and your condo are great! The location is perfect but the condo...oh it was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook whatever it was we wanted to eat. Thank you so much for sharing your second home with us!
