  My husband and our two children aged four and one and a half stayed here for three weeks. The house was great, it has lots of rooms and feels really spacious. It's set up perfectly to live in for a holiday. The interior is stylish and homely. There were a lot of stairs up to the front door which was challenging with a stroller but that seems to be de riguer for San Francisco and would be no problem generally. The location is pretty fantastic, right next to Golden Gate Park which we visited regularly. There is so much to see and do there. As we were car-less I was concerned about walking the hills of San Francisco but this area seems comparatively flattish. We got to know Sunset pretty well in our three weeks and I feel like we had a "real life" San Francisco experience staying there. The best thing about this place though was probably the house owners. Matt and Vanessa were extremely thoughtful and responsive owners. We came from Australia so could not easily bring much toddler equipment with us. Matt and Vanessa lent us a stroller and scooters and provided great toys and books for our kids. This was so convenient and made things a lot easier for us and much more fun for the kids. They also took delivery of a buggy board we'd ordered for the trip and had it ready and waiting for us when we arrived. In addition Matt sent through a couple of items express that we'd left behind to our next destination as soon as we asked. Matt and Vanessa were very open to any questions or requests we had and responded immediately. I really appreciated the thoughtful advice about getting around the locality with the kids solo. They were incredibly helpful, courteous and respectful. Thanks so much for having us stay.

  Great house and awesome location! House was very clean and comfortable. Only thing missing was a BBQ grill. Would definitely stay there again, and would certainly recommend to friends/family. Also, really appreciate the welcome document with local restaurant recommendations, sights to see, train/bus options, etc. Thanks for the hospitality!!

  This is a beautiful house, in a top location, and quite spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much indeed. The owners were most responsive and friendly. There was space in the house for children and the furnishings were nice, but not precious, so that families with kids would feel comfortable. We would definitely recommend this, and we would certainly stay there again.

  This house was perfect for my family who came to visit for my wedding. There were 3 kids (ages 2, 5, and 11) and everything was ideal for kids (the house itself, location, parking, backyard). The owners were so responsive and helpful leading up to the visit, during and afterwards. When my family comes next time, I will definitely rent this house!

  I've stayed at many VRBO locations before and this was was by far one of the best. We had 4 kiddos staying with us and it was PERFECT. So clean and spacious. San Fran charm for sure too! Golden Gate is right across the street (little paddle boats, De Jueng observatory and park not too far!). The strip nearby is also great (check out the Japanese dollar store! Ichiban Kan). The house is so set up- lots of air mattresses, a pack and play for my infant, and toys for the kids. We had lots of great family dinners and I just can't say enough about how wonderful this place is!

  Great home, perfect location and the best owners. We loved being able to walk to Golden Gate Park and the drive to all of the other sights was usually not more than 20 minutes. Several shops and restaurants in the area but the home was still nice and quiet. The home is spacious and the rooms are all good size. Plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and 4 kids. The owners are very nice and accessible. They responded immediately to any questions we had and seemed determined to ensure we had a great vacation. I would recommend this property to anyone.

  We had the great opportunity to stay in this house at mid August, for four nights. Two families, six kids....coming from Italy. As soon as we arrived we immediately understood that our stay would have been amazing: the house is so nice, furnished and dressed with exquisite taste, spacious rooms, and a very well equipped kitchen. Even better then imagined looking at the photos!!!! Everything was perfect: the cleanliness, the climate, and also the neighbourhood....it' s a well linked district, quiet, clean, many shops around, good food....and San Francisco people around, so friendly! California Academy of sciences it ' s just 15 minutes walk, as well as The Young museum. We highly recommend this house. moreover Vanessa and Matt were always at our disposal for any doubts or question.....very helpful and polite..... Thank you!!!!

  What an excellent place to stay! Highly recommended for those with kids. Bright, comfortable house, excellent location, right next to Golden Gate Park. Felt very much at home and we were well taken care of.

  My family of four (wife, daughter 15 and son 14) stayed for a week in this charming home. It reminded us of the architecture in our home town. Older home, lots of character, high ceilings and a "neighborhood feel". We had plenty of room and found the location, safe and quiet. Our hosts left us some beer, coffee, olive oil, the basics of condiments, etc. The grocery was a short drive. Very convenient. We drove our car to most excursions (except for the Giant's game) and finding a parking spot at the end of the day was never a problem. I'd stay there again. Thank you.

  Thank you so much for allowing our team to stay in your home, it was amazing! Your hospitality and the charm of your home was perfect. What I, personally, will miss most is the "Taco Shop." I ate there every night I was there! I should have branched out, but the food and baseball games on....it was the perfect 25 mins after a 15 hour day. I can't wait to come back and stay for vacation.
