Very comfortable, loved sleeping with the door open listening to the ocean at night. Would definitely go back and stay here again.

    This is a very comfortable unit. It is decorated impecably with attention to detail. It is very quiet, great location, with a nice view. Unit was ready on time and check process is extremely easy.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

    This was our third trip to Kiawah, and this condo was our favorite. Shipwatch is an older complex, but the condo felt like new. The area was quiet and close to everything we needed. The condo was spotless, well-decorated and had every amenity you could think of! We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. We had a great experience all around, and would highly recommend this condo.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

    Third trip to Kiawah, can't get enough of this wonderful island. Decided to try a villa this visit, having stayed at the Sanctuary two prior trips. The villa is perfectly updated, absolutely spotless , great view, comfy bed, lovely decor, great location! There is a feeling of total privacy - on the balcony as well as throughout the unit, which is oriented towards the beach/dunes/wooded area. Lots of birds, and a deer, were seen! Last but not least, the wonderful Kiawah beach was just a short walk off the elevator and down the boardwalk. Can't wait to go back and stay again at this unit!

    Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Recommend with a strong caution about lack of TV service Everything was GREAT -- the ocean view, conveniently located near the stairway, comfortably furnished. Everything except the TV service -- no HD TV (really?!) and only basic, basic (really?!) cable ... around 10 channels, and NO ESPN, NO Comedy Channel, no sports! No baseball on TV could be a deal-breaker in the summer months. Guests should be forewarned!

    This trip was the second time visiting Kiawah Island and the second time we stayed at a condo owned by this company. My husband and I could not have been happier. The view was gorgeous and the condo was even very pretty! We felt very comfortable while staying there and will book again soon. What a relaxing place to be and get away from it all. We already miss it!
