**REVIEW*** Spent 6 nights. Fantastic breezes throughout the very spacious house. We spent most of the time on the veranda. Owners were on site for part of our stay, very helpful - took us on a afternoon tour one day. 5 minutes to Le Tunnel, which has a nice walkway with hugh rocks and crashing waves at the end and a beach area. Paved trails in the park right when you turn in from Highway 2. We ate at 3 of the restaurants on the street - NOT the first 2 that you pass coming to the house from the highway (a little pricey). All three were pretty good. Even though there are restaurants on the street, it is still just a quiet neighborhood street. This is the first place where the owners actually supplied bread, milk, juice, eggs & cheese -- NICE touch! Can't tell from the picture, but in the kitchen looking through the screen door, you do get a pretty ocean view (and we always ate at the counter, so it was perfect.) Supplied detergent for laundry. No beach chairs or coolers. Camuy Caves and the Arecibo Observatory are less than an hour away and you can easily do both in one afternoon. Very quiet & enjoyable.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are very pleased that our guests enjoyed their 6 nite stay and that they equally enjoyed the time we were able to share with them. They gave us a chance and excuse to break away and take in the views of Villa Montana and the specutacular beach in front of the restaurant. We do hope they will consider a return in the future. We have requested Sigfrido to obtain the folding beach chairs and cooler that they recommended. We have benefitted from our guests' candid comments as to how we can make our guests' visits that much more enjoyable. Our thanks to them.

We had a great time. This was our second stay at this beautiful house overlooking the ocean in Quebradillas. This year we met the owners, who were very friendly and helpful. If we are lucky enough to go to Puerto Rico again, we will definitely consider this property again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed 9 days and 8 nights over looking the Atlantic ocean in Puerto Rico. Lovely spot with a lot of history of the sugar cane railroad. We enjoyed the local restaurants (walking distance) and espically the beaches around Rincon. The house was very nice as was the location, we had a issue with the neighbors barking dogs which was quickly resolved by Armando. We would return.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: We welcomed the recent stay of our visitors. Without mentioning their names I most appreciated their respective comments as to how we could improve the visit of future guests. Their observations were "spot on" as the Brits would say and were acted upon. As to the barking dogs, yes, they had become a problem and upon hearing our guests' concerns, I spoke strait away with the owner who immediately built a large enclosure for the dogs so they would not bark at night. It was our guests' candid comments that brought a new level of peace not only to us but to others in the general area. So a negative became a positive. I am thankful to our guests and do hope they will return in the future. I reminded our property manager about their comments and the importance of always meeting a high bar that our US and foreign visitors expect.

I would like to thank Armando and Socorro for letting my family and I stay at their wonderful vacation home. Our vacation visit was phenomenal. We had a great time visiting different pueblos(towns) and the vacation home is not that far away from Aguadilla airport (which is about a 20 minute drive). I also would like to thank Sigfrido, there property manager, he was polite and very helpful. This is a beautiful location to stay and to be. Everything you need is a few minutes away on highway #2. I will definetely be back again. We enjoyed our visit at this gorgeous home and it's a comfortable and cozy place to live . Thank you once again and I cant wait till my August vacation back to Puerto Rico. Daniel PerezOwner response: We are most pleased that Daniel and his family enjoyed their stay and as our other previous guests they treated the home as their own. Thank you so very much. We look forward to having them back in August or whenever it fits into their plans. We will pass on your compliments to Sigfrido. We always appreciate any suggestions as to how we can improve the home and make your experience even that more enjoyable. Mil Gracias to Daniel and his family - Armando & Socorro

We were very pleased with our stay at this house, it is in a peaceful country like setting surrounded by lush greenery and ocean views. It was close to many nice beaches and there were conveniences like restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The owners were easy to work with and the house was very comfortable and private. The property manager, Sigfriedo, left the house well cared for and stocked with snacks upon arrival. We are grateful to have found this house to rent and hope to stay here again in the future.Owner response: We were very pleased that Ilana and her family enjoyed their stay and that they found all to their liking not only in the house, but with the immediate surroundings of the 2 acres of property, the nearby beaches, restaurants and other features. We do hope that she and her family will continue to return. We do appreciate that Ilana and family cared for our home just as if it were their home. !Gracias un millon y que vuelvan pronto!

My husband and I had a great weekend at this house! The house and the views are wonderful and there are so many things to do and see in a short driving distance. Jobos beach at Isabela is spectacular and just 20 min. away. Arecibo Lighthouse, the Observatory, Las Cavernas de Camuy, Utuado Indian Ceremonial Park, are must see attractions. There are also several places to have dinner within walking distance, as well as a picnic area with many gazebos that takes you to the Guajataca beach and El Tunnel Historical Place. The house was all that was promised; the thought that went into the location; views, layout, décor details are impressive. The atrium is great for reading, playing games or just having a conversation. The porch is simply perfect for morning breakfast and sunset evenings. Everything well-maintained! Sigfrido the property manager, Socorro and Armando are all an A+, very supportive since your arrival (fresh treats) to your departure. They were available all the time. We strongly recommend this house; we are planning to return soon.....thanks for the memories!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: We must appreciated having our recent guests. We wish we could have made the weather somewhat better but hopefully the beauty of the location and our home compensated. We hope that you come back with your family in the near future and remember that if someone stays with us strictly based on your recommendation, that for the time being we will send you a $100 rebate for a two week stay and $75 for a one week stay. Also thank you for taking care of our home just as if it were your own.

We stayed in Armando and Socorro's rental for 15 days while vacationing/house hunting. Upon our arrival to this very clean rental we received a nice warm welcome from them, along with their property manager Siegfriedo. They had some goodies waiting for us so we did not have to go to a store right away.We were able to relax, unpack and enjoy a refreshing drink and much needed snack before heading out. The house is one level, so no stairs to climb. I recommend the Supermacado called the Hatillo Kash & Karry. It is located on route 2 a few miles from the house on the right heading east.It is clean, well stocked with familiar brands and items, along with local products from the island. There are fast food restaurants around it, although we prefer to eat the local cuisine at the small food trucks and huts. We find them to be very clean, the food is tasty and very inexpensive. We love the fresh Pina Coladas. We have done this several times on our trips to PR. The peace and tranquility at this rental is amazing. We enjoyed cafe con leche on the porch every morning before heading out, also it's great for reading a book on those lazy relaxing days, the view to the ocean is calming and wonderful. I stared more at the ocean than I did my book. The breezes were wonderful and cooling, and the little chirping birds were fun to watch. Any one who stays here and explores Quebradilla will be surprised to find it a peaceful town with friendly people all around and fun inexpensive things to do.They have music festivals in all the town squares on some Friday and Saturday nights that are fun to attend. I suggest arriving early. The nearby Caverns of Camuay and Arecibo Observatory are a must. For the brave hearted, a trek down to the water below the cliffside via the stairs and trail at the back of this property is a must. My husband and I took some great pics down there. I do recommend that you be in shape and have no physical challenges for this adventure, once you leave the stairs the trail is a little steep. Siegfriedo checked in with us on and off through out our stay here to make sure everything was OK. He was not a bother, and we found this to be comforting and thoughtful. On our last day Siegfriedo stopped by to make us a farewell brunch of fresh coco frio, pinchos de pollo, tostones and pan calienti. What a treat! There is so much more to do,see, and taste, I cannot mention it all. You will have to come explore and experience it for yourselves. You will not be disappointed.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: These were our first guests since having listed our home with HomeAway. They were such a please to have as our first experience. Both of them gave us helpful recommendations as to how we could make the stay for our future guests all the more enjoyable. Actually as mentioned by them, they are moving to our area of Puerto Rico and we fully anticipate that we will be sharing time in the immediate future with these two beautiful people.
