Located blocks from Recoleta in the Barrio Norte neighborhood—considered to be the most upscale and centralized area of Buenos Aires — this ultra luxury apartment is just blocks from the Recoleta Village area. It is very spacious. The apartment gets plenty of sunlight throughout the day due to its location on a higher floor. It is a very modern apartment. The apartment has it's own private entryway off the elevator for maximum privacy. There is also a service entrance in the kitchen.
The apartment has been completely renovated and is a 5 star property. It has a balcony with a tranquil view of the pool. The apartment is located on the back of the building so there is no street noise. It is a perfect alternative for those that do not want to be cramped in a smaller hotel room or apartment. No expense was spared renovating and furnishing this apartment. Most of the furnishings are imported from Europe.
The apartment has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King size bed. The second bedroom has a Double bed. Both mattresses are Four Seasons Presidential suite mattresses. There is a totally renovated master bathroom. high end materials including marble countertops. The kitchen is furnished with everything you would find in your home. We stayed almost a month in Buenos Aires split between some hotel and two different apartments. This was our favorite of the three places we stayed. Pros: 1.Nice building with very helpful door man. The building is modern and feels very safe. The pool looked clean although we didn't use it as it was a bit too cold for us to swim in September, but it did look inviting. 2. Apartment is decorated in a clean modern aesthetic that feels both new and clean. 3.Beds are comfortable. 4. Towels are plentiful and very luxurious. The other apartment we stayed in only had a few towels and they weren't nearly as nice. These were great! 5.Extra 1/2 bath was very nice bonus, especially as I was traveling with young boys and this got to be my bathroom only! 6. Great black-out shutters to cut all light for late nights out and sleeping in in the morning. 7. Management is very helpful. We needed a lot of support for various reasons and they took good care of us and did their best to help us out in anyway possible. (Note: they are not reachable after hours and there is no emergency contact number which as an American is hard to understand, but may be totally normal in Argentina. If you need something after hours, you're out of luck.) 8. Location: good restaurants within walking distance. Easy to hail a taxi almost any time as it is a relatively busy street. Easy walk to Palermo Alto shopping center (lots of shops and restaurants and DHL for shipping etc.). Cons: Location: on a somewhat busy street. Longer walk to Recoleta Cemetery and that area. We walked it often, but it was a longer walk especially for our kids. TINY kitchen...and I mean tiny. there is absolutely no place to put the groceries except on top of the fridge and in the closet in the main room. Chopping and cooking space is also very limited. Cooking was not much fun here. Elevator: I have to admit, I don't love the tight super small elevators I found in BA. This apartment is on the 6th floor so stairs were a bit too much after long days walking around the city. The elevator barely fit our family of two adults and two kids. It was tight and we're very lean. Overall, we would recommend this apartment and would likely return to it. We liked working with Apartments BA (managers of the apartment) and loved Buenos Aires especially on foot. If we had to go somewhere further away we would take a taxi or the Subte which is very close by. Enjoy!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
