Description: Enjoy incredible Sunsets and watch the ships sail by while sitting on your deck. Captain's View is also known for bird watching, as many rare species are often sited on the property. It has a turtle pond right off the patio that is protected wetlands. This is a tranquil setting that is most appreciated in the early morning and at sunset.
In addition to the enjoyment of the wetlands, you have beach views over the tree tops of the DNR protected myrtle. Daily you have scenes of the massive Cargo Shipping Vessels pass by your windows. This North Shore duplex is on a quiet residential street away from the noise and crowds of the pier. One of your neighbors is a Hollywood star!
This cozy two-bedroom duplex is decorated in topical furnishings and décor. A local Tybee artist, specifically for this home, commissioned paintings of the resident egrets. This duplex offers two private bedrooms.
All bedrooms have TV’s. The deck offers alfresco dining and the ultimate in view appreciation and added living space. A short 200-yard stroll via a private beach access takes you to a wide, uncrowded beach with the best fishing on Tybee. There is nothing between you and the beach but sand dunes and turtles!

The place looked just like the photo, nicely decorated, clean and in a beautiful quite neighborhood. While it has so much potential the place did need some attention. The AC did not work. In trying to get the AC to cool we did find there is a temperature lock so you can only cool to a certain temperature. The fan on the AC was all that was working on our visit. The ceiling fans in each bedroom made a loud noise, the fireplace did not work, the cable worked 1 day out of 4 days we were there. The garbage disposal did not work. We looked at the grill and the bottom was rusting and there were tiny holes in it. My friend and I, both, on two different days got something sharp stuck in our foot from the carpet. I did inform the rental company about all this and she said she would let the owner know. I never heard back from the owner or the rental company. Tybee is beautiful and my friend and I would go back to Tybee however we would seek another place to stay.

This was a nice house that would be great for a couple to get away. The place was amazing....The beautiful beach. The island is just so clean and safe. Very lovely little piece of Georgia. The house was wonderful we couldn't have asked for more! Many great memories! Hope to use it again. This has been a wonderful vacation and a fantastic place to stay. We fixed gourmet seafood dinners every night in the house. Tammy & John

We visited Taybee Island in May for a couple days before we stayed in Savannah for a week. The house was clean and cozy. This is a nice, quiet subdivision complex and we found it to be a perfect get-a-way and a very relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed a breakfast on the deck every day and spent many afternoons on the sandy beach. Thank you and we will recomend your property.

WE LOVE THIS HOUSE!! We loved our stay at Captain's View. We have vacationed in Beachside Colony for many years at the same spot. This year we decided to change, and were most pleasantly surprised by the spacious, beautiful, perfect beach house. The house was nice and clean. We played cards, watched movies, and read on the porch. Appliances, cooking utensils, washer/dryer, etc, everything needed was there.The beach access is literally STEPS away, and we enjoyed spending the day on the beach. The location was excellent for spending time on the beach/ocean and time sight-seeing in Savannah. Everything was just so convenient! Thank you, thank you!

What a great place! Perfect for family w/ kids (or not) with all the amenities you could ask for. Nicely furnished & clean. Owners very nice to deal with. Would rent here again! HIGHLY recommend!!!

We came down here for our honeymoon and have very thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was wonderful being so close to Savannah with all the fun of a beach vacation. Neither of us has visited the area before, but we definitely plan to bring our families back down here with us! This was a perfect spot for our honeymoon!

We loved Captain's View. It is a very peaceful place. We enjoyed the relaxing views of the turtle pond right out the back door and the many egrets that visited. We had the beach right in front of the house practically all to ourselves! We'll be back next year.

We had a great time here on Tybee Island. The house is on very quite street and the beach is really close. It's a perfect place to relax and visit Savannah too. We enjoyed staying here.
