Quiet, woodsy, ocean view cottage with deck. Path to private beach. Originally built in the 1930s, this property has had several recent updates, including a gorgeous, large, salt water pool, new furnishings, tasteful cottage themed decor, beds, linens, and kitchen updates. We have 2 other cottages with increased capacity on the same property...please search for Queen Anne's Cottages for more information and an up to date availability calendar. Rentals are by the week only: Saturday to Saturday. Sorry, we will not respond to inquiries that are for reservations for less than a week/7 nights.

Additional information about rental rates
Deposits are technically non-refundable, however, if we are notified in time to be able to re-rent the cottage, we are happy to give back your deposit. We have always been able to re-rent the cottage in the past, but in the event that we are unable to do so, the full balance is due.
A 50% deposit is due at the signing of a lease to cement a reservation. We also require a credit card verification form to be kept on file, in lieu of a damages/excessive cleaning deposit. Visa and Mastercard are accepted; a 4% discount is extended to those who pay by check. Final balance is due 2 weeks prior to the reservation.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
The rate includes housekeeping at the end of your stay. A 7% Maine State Tax is applied. $75 Additional fee for up to 2 pets.

About the owner: We live in Bar Harbor year round with our 3 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. Tony is the owner of a computer software company; Chelcey is the owner of a floral and event design company. We feel lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth, and are happy to share it with others!

This property is all of the above: woodsy/quiet/private, close to town (10 minute drive), super close to Acadia National Park (5 minute drive), and has amazing views of Frenchman's Bay!
