'Escape to Millersville Cabin'
Packwood, WA 98361
Thank you for visiting the “Millersville” cabin website and considering our cabin for your vacation escape. This is our second home and we absolutely love it here in Packwood. Our family has created many wonderful memories here throughout the years. Packwood's small town charm is the perfect place for visitors that are looking for a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings of a small community. We are far enough from town to provide peace and quiet, yet close enough to remain convenient to public amenities.
We have designed the cabin to be warm and inviting. If relaxing is what you are looking for then you found the perfect place. Whether it is cuddling up in front of the gas fireplace with a good book, watching a movie on a rainy afternoon or soaking in the privately fenced in hot tub, this is the spot for you! The cabin sits on a wooded lot and has plenty of room for the little ones to play and be adventurous. We often have sightings of deer, elk and other wild life around the cabin. The large deck off the front of the cabin is great for gathering with family and friends. This year we added a covered gazebo/fire pit to the property. There is no better way to end a perfect day in the woods or on the mountain, than to gather around a hot fire warming up with hot chocolate, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories about your day.
The Cowlitz River is just a short walk from the cabin, here you will be able to explore the river bank or just enjoy the beautiful mountain terrain.
While staying at Millersville you will have access to the 9 hole, par 3 golf course, located at the High Valley Country Club. While this course isn't anything of a great challenge, it is a lot of fun.
It sits in the middle of the forest two miles from the cabin and is surrounded by the Tatoosh Mountains. During the summer season you will be able to access and enjoy the two pools and playground.
Given the location of the town of Packwood and its proximity to so many of the recreational areas, you will find opportunities to enjoy fishing, swimming, hunting, hiking and site seeing. Winter visits to Mount Rainier can include snow shoeing, skiing, and snowboarding, cross country skiing, tubing or just time to play.
Packwood is known for its Elk population and if you have never experienced the beauty of a herd of elk, you are in for treat.
We hope you enjoy your stay at the 'Millersville cabin' and create lasting memories of your own.

If you're thinking about skiing White Pass in a large group, I can't think of a better place to stay than here at Millersville cabin. With lots of parking, a large hot tub, a large outdoor gazebo/fire pit, a large grill, and as many beds as can fit in the house comfortably, we had an amazing stay. Bonnie was extremely nice and helpful with making sure everything was ready for our stay, and all of us were impressed with the state of the cabin. We will definitely be coming back next time we do White Pass! Thanks so much for providing us with the place to have such a fun weekend!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This was our 2nd stay at Millersville as we were some stray friends back in December. Millersville never fails to deliver. We have so much fun relaxing under the campfire gazebo and taking a dip in the spa after a long day shredding up at White Pass. The cabin is perfect shape and is roomy enough for adults and kids to have their own space. The neighborhood is quiet and I was able to hear nothing but frogs and the Cowlitz river at night. While we don't plan on summer trips to the mountain, knowing there is access to cabins like this, we might change our mind. We'll definitely stay again when the snow arrives next fall!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We just stayed for 5 nights at Millersville Cabin. It was probably the nicest vacation my wife and I have ever had with our family (5 kids between 10 and 18). Millersville was big enough for all of us and we had a great time preparing meals, watching movies, hikeing, fishing, and playing games after a day of playing. We were also blessed with great weather most of the time with the exception of a few rainy nights but with the HUGE gazebo we were still able to enjoy the fire and make smores with the kids!!!!! The cabin is in a small community but there was at least 50 yards to the nearest neighbor and privacy was not an issue. It was also in a wonderful spot for seeing the sites of Mt. Rainer and Mt. St Helens. White pass and many awesome rivers and streams for fishing were all an easy drive. In fact, our stay was too short...we couldn't get to see and do many more things that we wanted to. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. we will see you again next year!!!! Thanks again Millersville for a wonderful stay.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We choose the Millersville cabin for a ski getaway as it's only a short drive to White Pass. Regardless of the season, the recreation opportunities are unlimited from here. The cabin has plenty of room for two families, plenty of parking, the hot tub and fire pit are great! Thanks Bonnie and Arnie, we will be back this summer.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

The “Millersville” cabin is definitely a great place to stay in Packwood, WA!! The owners are great, easy to work with and they have gone up and beyond to make their cabin a home away from home. We have stayed at “Millersville” several times, sometimes just my husband and I for a romantic getaway and a few times with our 25 year old son and his girlfriend. It was enjoyable every single time. We brought our fishing poles once and enjoyed finding great little spots to fish. Taking walks down to the river and spotting elk on our way into town was a highlight for me. So much to see and do at this destination know one will ever be bored. The hot tub is great on easing sore muscles and we enjoyed the starry sky that hovers above. This cabin is roomy, yet exceptionally cozy and we found ourselves not wanting to leave!! Thank you so much for making our stay an extremely pleasant one and we will certainly be back and let our friends and family know that this is the place to go in Packwood.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Why the Owner Chose Packwood:
My husband and I live and work in the Seattle area. Our cabin is our second home and we try to visit our property as often as time allows. My husband and sons are great skiers and snowboarders and love skiing at White Pass. Life gets so busy and it is nice to have a welcoming retreat. It was a hard decision when we decided to rent our second home, but we have not regretted one moment of our decision to do so. We have been so blessed to have the most wonderful guests visit our home. We take pride in our home and are responsive to any of our renters needs. Since we are not local, we have developed a team people that are both dedicated and wonderful, to work with are guests as our hospitality team, they are just a short distance from the property and will work with our guests directly – from key exchanges, to cleaning, to repairs, and anything in between. Our property is fully furnished and has all the amenities of home! Please feel free to contact us by phone or e-mail. Sincerely,
