Beautiful Family Retreat on the Golf Course

Bring your friends and family for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy a bbq on the back patio while watching the golfers play by. Or the beautiful fireplace after a day of skiing. This house is great for muti-family vacations or reunions, as it sleeps so many. With enough beds to sleep 18, there is still room for more. With 4 bedrooms, there is also a loft with a futon, a bonus room that sleeps 7 in beds (great for the kid room), a den with futon, and a hideaway in the living room. Our goal was to make enough room for our large family to vacation together. The house is located on the 2nd hole of the challenge coarse.

The Zebra Herd (officials) working the SALI tournament (Sisters Annual Lacrosse Invitational) spent the weekend at this lovely house. Very comfortable for food, fellowship and rest. With 12 beds and plenty of room to relax, we are already looking to be back next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We stayed here with 20 adults! Eagle Crest itself is such a beautiful place, and it was nice to be so close to Bend. The owners of this house were so easy to work with, and I could tell that Michelle really cared that we were comfortable and that we got inside the house okay. I appreciated that. My one complaint with the house is that while there are plenty of beds, the living room isn't very large. We made it work, but it was a bit squishy. If you don't mind being "cozy" with your large group, it is a fantastic place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This place was fantastic and so well-priced!! It is hard to find great, affordable accommodations for our size of group but there was room for everyone and we had such a great time. The patio and backyard were lovely, the kitchen island was large and perfect for serving buffet style! One drawback was a lack of dishes and utensils for the amount of people this house holds. And more couch space would be ideal, but other than that, sooo great!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

As a group of eight well-seasoned gal pals who gather at Eagle Crest for a week on an almost annual basis to quilt for charity, we enjoyed our time in this home but found it lacking a few basic amenities (for example, reading lamps in the living areas, toilet paper holders in two of three bathrooms, bath mats for two out of four showers), and in need of some minor maintenance and a deep clean in some areas. The windows inside and out were especially dirty. Though it’s not bad, there are better choices available for us since we don't need to sleep 18 to 20 people.Owner response: I have addressed your concerns about our property. Some a matter of opinion and others valid issues to be addressed . There are bath mats in all of the bathrooms, toilet paper holders in all the bath rooms, And lamps throughout the house. It is Central Oregon and the weather is very unpredictable with rain, sun, snow and heavy winds and a lot of dust. These take a toll on the house/windows. The windows are cleaned on a regular basis and due to the fact the the weather is now changing for the better, the windows will be cleaned on their regular schedule. You just happen to stay at the tail end of the last scheduled clean and a lot of high wind and rain. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your stay.

We had a group rent out the house for New Years Eve and we had a fabulous time! We were able to get 6 passes to visit the sports center to use the pool and hot tubs. The house had everything we needed for a great weekend. The kitchen was great for cooking group meals and everyone had a place to sleep! We were also very close to Sisters and Bend so were able to get out during the day for a hike or skiing. The property owners were very pleasant as well and they were more than accommodating! I would love to visit again in the future!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2002
About the owner: We are a family of 5 that loves to come to Central Oregon. With 2 daughters in high school and another one right behind them, we just don't make the trip to Eagle Crest as much as we would like to. Being from the Portland area, we love the impromptu trips over the mountain when we can. We raised our girls coming to this house and would love to share it with your family.
Why the Owner Chose Eagle Crest:
We built this home in 2002 after finding this lot while staying at our time share at Eagle Crest. We love the location, being so close to all the Eagle Crest has to offer. With our daughters being so active , we aren't able to get over as much as we would like. So we decided to open our home to you.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
You are steps away from great waling trials and the sports facility. I have always felt safe about letting the kids play and ride bikes around the Eagle Crest property. Niblick and Greens restaurant is a great place for dinner after a day of golf or skiing. We are close to shopping in Sisters and Bend. Skiing at Hoodoo or Mt. Bachelor. There is something to do all year long and only a 3 hour drive from Portland.
