  The house was exactly as described. The convenience of being in the Gourmet Ghetto, and so close to UC Berkeley made this a very pleasant stay. Walking distance to food, shopping, lovely parks and art centers. Parking is tight if you have a large vehicle and I would recommend backing in, The owner is responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

  Although the apartment is pretty basic as far as furnishings, bathroom and bedding, it is quite comfortable but, most importantly, has a great location. We were only half a block to a few blocks at most from great restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, as well as a 10 minute walk from the BART station such that we did not even need to use the car during our stay. The apartment is clean and quiet. The owner/manager was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone focused on location, ease and quiet comfort.

  Generally, we had a great stay. You can't beat the location - close to great restaurants and shops around the University, but very quiet. The parking pad is a huge plus if you have a car. You're close to the BART so it's a wonderful option to go over to San Francisco without the car. The condo is clean, spacious and the kitchen is fantastic. However, as my girl friend noted, "It's obviously owned by guys". A few touches like night tables and night lamps would be nice and the TV has less than the most basic cable channels...but otherwise it's a really good deal and I would highly recommend it.

  The accommodation was very comfortable, clean, well-stocked and convenient for the Gourmet area, University and Downtown Berkeley. We had a very enjoyable stay and the landlord was extremely helpful throughout. A five-star vacation rental.

  We college friends from the late 1960s had a wonderful time at this well-appointed, clean, reasonably priced, and faithfully advertised condo. Large living and dining areas, spacious, updated kitchen, three roomy bedrooms, and two efficient baths - as well as a clean and large utility room fully equipped helped make our stay even more special. Neighborhood is pleasant, easy walking to many key Berkeley areas, including the campus and lots of interesting shops and wonderful places to eat. Of special note - based on my experience with other VRBOs - the beds were very comfortable and the owners provided generous bedding and towels. We were also MOST appreciative of the delightful weather during our stay! Parking is a little awkward, but there is a safe space on the property for one car. I am recommending this to other friends and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the owners who kept us well-informed but also respected our privacy.

  We stayed at the condo with myself + my wife + 2 little kids (1 and 3). It was a great location, the condo was perfect for little kids. I would stay here again , dealing with the owner was a great experience with excellent communication.

  Perfect place for four women, traveling together, to attend Edible Schoolyard Conference @ MLK Middle School, which was well within walking distance from house. Spacious, clean, in a nice neighborhood. Great to come back after a busy day and chill. Well stocked w/kitchen equipment for the nights we stayed in, nice linens AND laundry!

  We were a family group with two adult children and wanted a place that was potentially suitable to also invite a few friends over. The size and space were very suitable for these purposes, as was the location. The main bedroom was very comfortable and the other spaces were quite adequate for a short stay. Having the full kitchen gave us lots of options for self catering and light entertaining. The kitchen was a little understocked on some items, but I believe this has now been rectified. We had trouble connecting to the wireless internet, and had to use cable login, but perhaps we did not follow instructions closely enough as others have not reported this problem. Compared to others we met who stayed in hotel rooms just down the road our accommodation was much better value for our money.

  Our stay at this property was excellent. We had a family of four and the space was perfect for our needs. The location was great, the condo was well kept and very comfortable and it was very easy to communicate with the landlord via email. He was very accessible prior to and during our stay and we found the entire experience to be very positive. The unit was spacious and well equipped, matching the description perfectly. This was our first home rental and we will have a difficult time staying in a hotel in the future because of it. Thank you for a great experience!
