Sonidos de Agua means- Sounds of Water in Spanish and the amazing indoor water feature in this luxury home brings the sounds of the rainforest to life! Walk through the hand carved wooden front door onto a teak wood walkway that transverses the interior reflecting pool that runs the length of the home. A waterfall cascades down from the second floor and a 'weeping wall' trickles water over 2 custom designed stone carvings.
This home was built for entertaining and vacationing with a comfy living area and full bar, as well as a large dining room and chefs kitchen. The decor throughout is eclectic tropical, with lots of wood, rich colours and unexpected details. The villa has spectacular ocean views from all of its 3 floors, including the ample decks and infinity pool.
Four comfortable bedrooms provide accommodation for up to 8 people. Three of the bedrooms are on the second floor, one with jungle views and two with ocean views. Each have their own private deck. A fourth bedroom is on the ground floor with ocean view and direct access out to the lawns. Each bedroom features its own en suite full bathroom.
Sonidos de Agua is located a five minute drive down a gravel country lane, with sheep and cattle dotting the rolling green hillsides. A well-known local restaurant, 'Ronnie's Place' is right on the way. From the villa it is a 10 minute walk down to a secluded beach. The main Manuel Antonio beach and Park are located only a 10 minute drive away.
