  This was a 3 generation extended family vacation with 3 sets of grandparents, 4 adults’ children and two young grandchildren. This spacious house served our large group wonderfully and its location was perfect. We photographed several sunsets from the upper deck. The highlight of our stay was one afternoon when several of us were playing in the ocean in a group and a manatee came along and joined us-sticking its nose into the center of our group. Several of us, including one of the grandchildren got very close to the manatee. After playing around us for several minutes, the manatee simply swam off.

  Your home is beautiful and the perfect family get away. We had 6 children traveling with us. We are the typical combined family. Our children range in age from 4 – 20 years old. They never got bored. The beach was fun and we all got nice and tan. The pool was wonderful especially with the 4 year old. The older kids loved the golf carts and drove around the island daily. Even with the weather not quite perfect, we watched the storms on the covered decks. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home.

  We came from Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Ft. Lauderdale. Moms, Dads, Grandmas, brothers, sisters, cousins, friends and became one big, happy, tan family while staying at your incredible house by the sea. We laughed, at great meals together, read many books, played games, swam, tanned, collected shells, laughed some more, slept peacefully at night (and some afternoons). Babies saw first sunsets; teenagers loved being “free” on your island, and we laughed again. We take beautiful shells, amazing photos and priceless memories with us.

  Wow! What a week! Me and my three kids came here and had a great week. Hurricane Isaac greeted us but then quickly left. We had great weather and the island to ourselves. The kids had a blast on the beach, the pool and exploring the island. The sunsets were beautiful and we will remember this forever!

  Although we drove only a short way from Miami, it seems as though we set foot in paradise, 1000 miles away. The weather was beautiful the entire week with only a 15 minute shower on Thursday. The house is absolutely Fantastic! We are 3 generation family of 12 (6 adults – 6 children and a set of 9 month old triplet girls. We never felt crowded and everyone had their own space. We enjoyed a week of great meals in your fabulous kitchen. We saw dolphins, at least 7 gopher tortoises (which were all named Franklin by the kids). We were in awe as a huge manatee swam with us as we relaxed in the shallow water as a group. It was just amazing! On the last full day, Saturday, we saw a bobcat which was kind enough to pose for pictures- a safe distance away. Another incredible experience! We Will Be Back!

  Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. The beach was very fun and we all had a great time. We never ran out of entertaining things to do all throughout our stay. The pool was nice and clean and the cleaning service did very well. It was fun riding the golf carts around and seeing the whole island. There were seven of us staying your home. Two families (one of four and one of three). There was more than enough room for all of us. our house is very comfortable and home-like. We were glad to have spent a week here for spring break and hope to come back soon sometime.

  Wonderful week here with the exception of one day cold-rainy weather. Enjoyed the sunset each evening. Your house is beautiful - very compatible for a party of 10. Kitchen area is magnificent. We enjoyed the golf cart rides around the island. We'll go back to Ohio where the temperature is 28 degrees with snow.

  The home is absoultely gorgeous. I didn't realize there was an Island and a beach so close to home here in the U.S. where one could enjoy peace and scerenity like we experienced at CBS. Not a single horn or siren for the entire stay. the dolphins are magical; and the sunsets are even more magical. The home is so fresh, modern, and very comfortable. I wish I could replicate so many parts of it in my home; especially the kitchen and the patios. The play set for the children was like a bring along baby sitter. what a great idea and amenity. We'll surely return to CBS and can't wait for the next opportunity.

  This home is a first class luxury property, inside and out! We particularly enjoyed the Gulf water and beach views. The sunsets were stunning as well. Whether we were sunning by the pool, or enjoying breezes on one of the many porches or patios, we were impressed by the care the owners took to capture and preserve the island setting. We plan to visit again and recommend others strongly consider staying at Captiva Beach Sunset.
