  Listing is accurate, as described. Photos are exactly as shown, property was very clean and well maintained. Sheets and towels were very nice, white and soft smelled like tide with bleach, and everything was very nicely clean. Owner and his wife were SUPER helpful with questions and concerns. Eduardo has great ideas on what to do and where to go and was very helpful with directions. Owners were very aware of the property and you felt safe in the area. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Bakery Kasalta was amazing and nearby. Quatro Sombras coffee house in Old San Juan was very cool. Plaza del Mercado "La Plazita" nearby was great at night with Karaoke and great Mojitos. Tres B restaurant was very hip and chic, food was superb. SuperMax is nearby for groceries. La Cueva del Mar seafood restaurant was great and nearby. The beach is very close walk and is beautiful! Water is warm. I promise if your looking to stay in San Juan this is a great choice, you will be pleased. :D

  My boyfriend and I stayed at Eduardo and Beatriz's studio from 4/17-4/20. We were so happy with our stay there. The description was pretty much accurate - they just gave us a studio with more of a futon than a sofa bed but we didn't need one anyways. If someone were to sleep on the futon, it would have been pretty comfortable. The studio was in a small complex of a few more units that I think E&B own and manage. There was a front gate that they always kept locked, which made us feel safe and secure the whole time. The studio was very clean and the towels, sheets and blanket actually smelled really amazing and fresh. Kudos to them for that. They also had a couple gallons of water for us in the kitchen. E&B were very kind and sweet. We had just come back from 3 days with a rental car in Luquillo and decided to walk/bus in SJ. Consequently, we had to return our car on our arrival night in SJ. Originally, E thought they would probably be working so they weren't going to be able to pick us up from the rental car location. However, when we got to the condo, he was just about to leave the house for something and offered us a ride. We really appreciated the offer but decided we wanted to explore a little first before returning the car. Also, before we even arrived, E had emailed us lots of restaurant suggestions as well as thorough directions to the apt. He answered all of my questions promptly by email and was available by phone/text throughout our stay. The area around us was ideal... we were close the bus stops which got us to OSJ, but also within walking distance to great restaurants, a coffee shop, a bakery, the beach, and Condado (which we found really touristy and not so appealing). The street of the condo feels safe during the day but we mostly tried to get home before it got too dark. If you go out on Friday, a lot of people are out and about so you'll be fine! We highly recommend: Tres Be - fish tacos and sliders (We got real chummy with the folks here and were able to taste a few things that weren't even on their menu yet! All delish.) Kasalta - sancocho soup and fruit juices/smoothies Caba - wine bisto with outdoor seating, amazingly polite waiters and bartenders Hacienda - coffee and in OSJ: Punta De Vista - mofongo Cafe Cuarto Sombras - best lattes We highly recommend this property! Thank you Eduardo and Beatriz for your hospitality!

  Beatriz and Eduardo are fantastic hosts. They really love San Juan and are happy to have guests stay on their property. This really helps when you weren't too familiar with the city. They are knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions about things to checkout and places to eat or drink. The location is very convenient to anything you would need. I got around everywhere by walking and the occasional cab or bus. The property itself was nice and intimate. Much better more comfortable than any hotel I've been to. I look forward to my next trip to San Juan and hope that they have space!

  We had the pleasure of renting this studio apartment two times during our vacation in Puerto Rico. Eduardo and Beatrice were amazing and very accommodating. The apartment was great for our needs. A small kitchen we used to cook our own meals to save on eating out. They provided us with access to wifi and cable tv. We were only a short walk from the beach and minutes from everything in the San Juan area by car. They provided a wonderful clean area with towels and linens. They also took the time to tell me about local restaurants and other attractions in the area. I would have definitely given them a 5 but this is at someone's home so some of the comforts of a hotel weren't there. A/C to save on energy bills could only be run while we were there, not a big deal but it was a bit loud to sleep through. Not sure if its even worth mentioning but the water pressure in the shower was a little week. My friend said it took 10 minutes just to rinse her hair properly. But that's no biggy we should all conserve. All in all a wonderful experience and would definitely use this apartment if I find myself back in Puerto Rico. I left very comfortably and invited Eduardo and Beatrice to California anytime they wanted! Thank you for a great vacation

  Recently visited San Juan and had the pleasure to stay here. The apartment was clean and well kept, simple yet beautiful. The garden around the property is also beautiful and we enjoyed sitting outside during the evenings. Proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and the beach is perfect. We barely used the car except on day trips out of San Juan. Owners were friendly and provided lots of informational brochures/maps/flyers of nearby attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

  This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was well-equipped clean, quiet, and parking was easy. We took day trips from here and divided our meals between eating out (a restaurant we found online and one excellent place recommended by the owners) and preparing our meals in the full aparment kitchen, which was well-stocked with necessary items. Neighborhood was very safe and apartment was close to the beach--quite walkable. We also had an easy time taking the bus into old San Juan instead of using our rental car. The owners were absolutely wonderful--great recommendations, very helpful with any questions about restaurants, transportation, logistics, etc, and very responsive to everything--including offering to take us to the airport! A great place to stay with wonderful owners. We will absolutely consider this property again upon returning to San Juan and highly recommend it.

  My boyfriend and I wanted to escape from reality for a few days and have a nice relaxing weekend close to the beach, this studio was PERFECT for our stay. We were beach bums being just a short 5 minute walk from the studio to the beach. The owners were overly welcoming and accommodating, assisting us with recommendations on place to visit, eat, mapped out directions to get to Old San Juan (have to visit, absolutely beautiful). All in all 100% satisfaction with stay and would definitely return.

  The owners of this are friendly and attentive to their guests. We had a issue with a typical issue in the bathroom and it was taken care of promptly. We were able to enjoy our day outdoors and our issue was fixed while were out. The studio has everything you need, even a small kitchenette. It felt more like we were staying at a apt than a guest room. Also, I knew when I went to PR that I wanted to leave with a adopted cat. Bianca was very helpful in contacting me with a local cat rescue group that had some beautiful cats for adoption. I adopted a beautiful female cat! Over all a wonderful stay and will stay again when in San Juan!

  The apartment was only a short walk away from the beach, it was very comfortable and cozy. The place was perfect for what we payed! The owner was nice and very reliable. The bed was comfortable, the layout and decoration in the apartment was tasteful and charming. We ate in a few times, the kitchen was small but perfect for what we needed it for. The bathroom was functional and the owner provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap, coffee, sunscreen and Aloa Vera! There was also many clean towels for our use. It was gated. The only problem we ran into was finding a parking spot on the street sometimes, BUT the neighborhood was safe we didn't have to worry about anyone breaking into the car or stealing the tires, so we felt very secure. Overall the place was great and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to puerto Rico.
