This new home is located at the Northern end of the Island within a six minutes drive of Aruba's most attractive beaches. The private community is safe and tucked away near Noord called Calbas Plaza. This community has 40 Cunucu style homes with a private pool and clubhouse only steps away. The owners in the neighborhood are from all over the world and take pride in their tropical landscape and Dutch influence.
The home has three bedrooms and sleeps six people comfortably. There are two great bathrooms with oversized showers for your day after the beach. The great room contains an open floor plan with a modern kitchen, dining room, and living room with cable TV.
The kitchen is fully equiped with all appliances including a gas stove, dishwasher, large refrigerator with an ice maker. The coffee, blender, microwave appliances are state of the art. There is a patio in the back with a full laundry room for your use. The owners supply an Aruba cell phone whereby you can purchase SIM cards at your convenience.
A property manager will show you to your vacation home, introduce you to the neighborhood and get you started for a quiet unique vacation retreat.
Our weekly rates include: •A welcome 6-pack of Aruba’s own Balashi beer awaiting your arrival •Complimentary designer toiletries •All utilities including electricity, water, gas, cable TV, & local telephone calls. •Linens & towels – changed weekly for bookings of more than 7 days *Please note that guests will be responsible for any ‘excessive’ utility usage, for example if the air conditioning units are left running all day.

This property was just as pictured and a described in the listing. Plenty of room, well located and well maintained. The home was exceptionally clean and the caretakers were there when we arrived and met us for check out when promised. An easy drive from everywhere on the island, and the beaches. The neighborhood was safe and clean as well. Everything was in good working order and the i-pod player exceptionally handy. The kitchen was well appointed and also in good working order. The owners were very helpful and answered all our questions prior to travel. The house has a cell phone which requires only that you preload the SIM card. The window screens, which were not evident in the other homes in the neighborhood were invaluable for allowing the trade winds to keep the house cool. There is a Dutch owned restaurant near by, Bingo, which was a good value for dinner and a nice local feel for cocktails. Also a must visit for lunch/dinner is ZEE ROVER, next to a better known Flying FIshbone. Zee Rover is a local place with FRESH fish and shrimp on the the menu. A great value and local flavor. This property exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

this is a great, cute place to stay during your trip to aruba. with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, washer and dryer, full kitchen, tv, and pool just next door, you can't ask for more. it is just a short drive from the beaches [and all other attractions, since aruba is so tiny] and within walking distance of a small grocery store. the neighborhood is very safe and welcoming. the owners were great with helping us get everything set up; the caretaker and his wife were also very helpful while we were there. i highly recommend aruba cunucu house!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing.

About: Mom owns the home and I am her daughter. We were both born in Aruba and take allot pride in the culture of Aruba. Mom runs a bed and breakfast in Vermont called with Weathervane Lodge.
Why Calbas:
Mom had property on the island and decided a cunucu home in a community would be the best place for her to settle into because it is safe and has homeowners that care.
