This recently built chalet is centrally located in the gated community of Snowline. With a southwest exposure and two large skylights, this home enjoys a bright and warm sunlit interior. Soaring 19' ceilings and a floor to ceiling river rock fireplace enhances the open interior layout. Two main level bedrooms have direct and private access to the rear deck and hot tub area. Both downstairs bedrooms have plush queen size beds and are separated by a full size bath with a five foot tub/shower. The open kitchen, dining room and living room were designed for enterainting with friends and family. Upstairs, the loft is set up for a children's relaxation area with couches that pull out to sleep two, a TV and DVD library. Adjacent to the loft upstairs is an enclosed suite with a queen size bed, cozy sitting area and full bath with a four foot shower. This finely appointed chalet gives you direct access to the Mt. Baker receration area and a VIP pass to entertaining and relaxation in a dream home, away from home.

- Snowline is a private gated community that borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest at the entrance to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. This small community allows guests to use the Outdoor Heated Swimming Pools (seasonal), Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Baseball Field, and children's playground. Children can also go fishing in the community stocked trout pond. Along with numerous trails throughout the community, you have direct access to the Nooksack River that borders a portion of Snowline Community Property.

The Snowline Clubhouse has WiFi, restrooms and showers and is next to the Heated Seasonal Outdoor Pools. Guests can also enjoy the Sport Courts, Playground, Trout Pond, Horseshoes and Volleyball court in the warmer months.
Snowline Maintains a short walking trail to the Nooksack river, with additional connecting trails going into the National Forest for many miles.

We had a great time staying here. The atmosphere was warm and spacious. It was extremely clean and had a great kitchen. The community and area around it was full of possibilities. Not only winter sports and hiking, but you could spend allot of time just exploring around the neighborhood, with it's streams, playground and vast natural beauty. We drove in, in the evening as the sun was setting. The mountainous views took our breath away. I will look forward to visiting again. We were there around Mother's Day in 2009.

Really nice place. Stayed with the family and was impressed by it's private, easy access, wonderful kitchen, and a nice hot tub off the back deck. It was perfect for bringing up the family the night before and heading to the ski hill the next morning. We'll be going back again!

We stayed at this cabin with friends in Aug 2011. I have to say that this place is honestly the best vacation rental my family has ever used. Everything is new and top quality. It's a 3 bedroom but we put the younger kids in the loft as a 4th sleeping area and it became their own private play space. There is fantastic hiking trails a short walk from the cabin and the neighborhood is friendly and serene. The kids got a kick out of having a snowball fight (in Aug) on Mt. Baker in the morning, then swimming in the pool in the afternoon. I loved the restaurant (forgot the name) that is a short walk across the main road. After a nice dinner you can enjoy their upstairs rec room while drinking killer margaritas, then walk back to the cabin. We will definitely return in the winter for skiing. Thank you!

My wife and our 4 kids loved this beautiful new getaway. Very clean and well maintained with all the amenities a family could ask for. Close to Mt. Baker with many accomodations available to the Snowline community. The owners are extremely helpful and told us every little detail we needed to know about their home, the surrounding community and the bounty of available entertainment and recreational opportunitities. We would recommend this large, inviting home to anyone looking for a family getaway. You'll love the time you spend there.

This is a wonderful cabin for a family or romantic escapes, summer, spring, winter or fall. Great hiking, cute and cozy community, easily available amenities and lite shopping. Community center is inviting and offers simple yet fun distractions (games, pool, etc.). Nicely furnished with open floor plan is a big plus for stretching out and family games or TV viewing. Kitchen is modern and fully equipped for easy use when cooking even a Thanksgiving size dinner. Washer and dryer work great and can keep up with messy stuff and wet apparel for 5 or 6 easily. Overall I/we enjoyed our stay and would go back as often as possible Regretfully that is not as easy as one would like from California, but have managed to get there 3 times now and greatly enjoyed each visit (once in spring/early summer and twice in snow season). Two skies up! Well maybe not - how about thumbs

I hope everyone that comes to our cabin has a great time. Mount Baker is a relaxed, family-friendly mountain, with lots of good skiiing and ski alternatives. We take our kids and their friends snowshoe-sledding on days off from skiiing. Just park at the upper parking lot and head off on the snowshoe trails. There are also great hiking and mountain bike trails that lead in and out of our neighborhood. Our kids learned to mountain bike on these trails. For a bit of history, Snowline has the Glacier community graveyard, with graves dating back to the start of the town.
