We enjoyed our ski trip, and this condo was the perfect base camp. Well equipped kitchen, well appointed, etc. Folks were friendly, the hot tub was ideal at the end of the long days, and Terri was a pleasure to book with.

Perfect location to visit Jackson Hole and Yellowstone!
Perfect location to visit Jackson Hole and Yellowstone!
We brought 8 people with us from Ohio to visit Jackson Hole all the way to Coulter Bay and back and to spend two days and a night in Yellowstone. This condo location in Driggs, Idaho was perfect. It was only about 45 min. to Jackson over the pass. The drive was amamzing every time we made it. We drove to the west entrance to Yellowstone Natl. Park midweek, which only took a couple of hours. What a fabulous experience. We saw lots of wildlife, beautiful falls and canyon, and lake. (we stayed all night in Canyon Village) We also enjoyed shopping and dinner in the town of W. Yellowstone on the way back to the condo. We ate dinner in a covered wagon and bought souveniers at a store that was having a 50% sale on the entire store. The condo was about 15 years old but looked much newer. It was clean, quiet and furnished nice. Terri was very helpful with all questions. I would recommend renting this property to friends and family. We spend several days enjoying the town of Jackson. They had just finished the Old Bill Run when we arrived. The town was set up with lots of booths. We enjoyed the Cowboy Bar,etc. We ate at a gluten free restaurant on the outskirts of town for lunch since one of my friends has to follow a strict diet. Bubba's Barbeque was the place we ate dinner the first night we were in town, recommended by a local. She didn't steer us wrong! Teton Village was nice as some of my group took the tram ride and could see many miles, even with the smoke from the fire that was started on Saturday. Our favorite was the Bar J Chuckwagon supper and western show!! What an experience. A must see. These guys are soooo talented. We bought 2 of their CD's. They are open nightly from Memorial Day Weekend thru September. So glad they were still open and we were given a couple of tips from the locals to attend.

The property was clean and well maintained. We especially appreciated the very clean condo with everything we needed for a great week. Targhee, Teton Village, Music on Main and The Knotty Pine restaurant in Victor were some of the places we enjoyed during our stay.

Owner response: Chris, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. According to the locals, being on the West side of the Tetons Grand Targhee gets more and better snow than Jackson. See you on the hill! Don

About the owner: We are avid outdoor lovers that enjoy high atitiude fresh air/excercise. Once you have experienced the Teton's you will come back. I spent my 40th birthday on top of Grand Teton, an experience you would never forget. I felt like I stood on top of the world. My wife spent her 50th birthday parasailling off the top of Jackson Hole Ski Resort. Wildlife abounds, you never spend a day you won't see some type of animal that just catches your eye. You usually will not see ever again.
Why the Owner Chose Driggs:
The sheer beauty begins at 6000 feet and only gets better as you go up. Snow on the west side of the Teton's is dryer and more plentiful than the east side. Grand Targhee offers year round activities including 'Music on the Main', and the Blues Fesitval they have every year. Lift serves mountain biking, exceptional wildlife viewing in Teton Valley and Yellowstone
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
While bicycling from the condo to the base of Grand Targhee we witnessed a moose in a lagoone, less than one mile from our doorstep. Teton Canyon has six foot tall wild flowers in the spring with moose and elk grazing. Just a wonderful, fresh experience for living in the high elevation air and low key lifestyle. The most enjoyable and relaxing feature is not having to be on the clock. We get up relaxed and refreshed from the previouis days activities with no stress. The day is planned over morning coffee at the condo or the local coffee shop. You can walk through town and see all the local flavor or take a drive to Victor and compare the pizza and the local Teton Brewing company. Teton Creek min from the condo offers world class fly fishing, guides are readly available. Some of the best drift boating is Idaho.
