If you want to experience Key West at its historic best, Casa Feliz is the perfect choice for your stay. A wide porch graces the front of the house and the grounds have been lushly landscaped in the unique Key West tropical style, including a rare Akee tree. This beautiful home has been awarded the Historic Florida Key Foundation’s Ceramic Star for its careful restoration. With its brick paved driveway to the car port and leading up to the front door, this home has the look and feel of a true classic Conch House. All of this just a few blocks from Key West's historic Seaport District.
THE LIVING AREA...
As you enter the spacious front foyer with its powder room, you'll notice that the walls are finished in Dade County pine. The living room is to your right, with comfortable seating for everyone, a large flat screen TV and a queen sized sleep sofa for extra guests. The dining room has seating for 8 persons and an even larger flat screen TV. A wall of French doors opens to the spacious back porch, which is just a couple steps away from the pool. In the kitchen, no expense has been spared to satisfy the demands of the most experienced chef. There is even a wine cooler and a wide pass-through to the back porch.
THE BACK PORCH & POOL...
Outside, there’s plenty of room for casual dining and just relaxing. The porch is big enough for everyone when you've all had enough sun. Floating in the heated pool is the just the right way to relax after a long day shopping in Old Town.
There’s even a convenient outdoor half bathroom and a shower to rinse off after sunbathing or a dip in the pool.
THE ACCOMMODATIONS...
The three beautifully furnished bedrooms are upstairs. The spacious master bedroom suite has a king bed and a flat screen TV. The master bath has twin vanities, a bidet and a Jacuzzi, not to mention an oversized custom glass shower. The second bedroom has two twins that convert to a king bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed. These two bedrooms share a spacious bathroom located in the hall.

Casa Feliz is everything you could want in a property: beautifully decorated and maintained, great outdoor space for eating and sunning and really well located. There is great local Cuban food just down the street and our favorite Key West restaurant is a short stroll away. Shel Segel, the property manager, is a real gem whom we look forward to seeing every year. We would recommend this house without hesitation.Did you find this review helpful? This was the first time our family (3 kids ages 19, 15, 13) stayed somewhere for an entire month and we couldn't be more delighted with our choice! The house is absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor living space (almost everyday!) with the refreshing pool and the landscape lighting made it perfect for evening entertaining. Our rental manager, Shel, was extremely accommodating and friendly, going above and beyond in many cases to make sure our stay was wonderful! He made great recommendations for restaurants, providing an entire list of must try spots (Blue Heaven's lobster eggs benedict is delicious and The Creperie across the street had fabulous made to order crepes!) as well as suggestions for places to visit (The Butterfly Conservatory is breathtaking!) When we weren't dining out, we had fun cooking in the gourmet kitchen with the top-notch appliances (Fausto's up the street was good for quick pick up items but we usually went to Winn-Dixie for most of our shopping). We rented bikes (ask for Brandon at Sunshine Scooters) and enjoyed riding around the island, especially early in the morning to take in all the architecture that makes this place so unique (Southard Street has a designated bike lane and Truman's Annex is very pristine!). The kids liked riding up to Higg's Beach to play volleyball or over to Mallory Square to take in all the fun during Sunset Celebration. We also rented a car for a weekend getaway to Miami, stopping at the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key to swim with the dolphins (they actually include a dorsal fin pull) -- it was amazing! Another great adventure was the half day sunset sailing on Danger Charters which included snorkeling, kayaking, beverages and snacks -- it was quite memorable. My family and I stayed at this property in June 2011. We are from the UK and were slightly concerned about booking via an unknown agent but everything was fine, and the agent was great and provided useful local knowledge. The house is beautifully decorated and well maintained. It has three double bedrooms (one ensuite), an open plan living room/dining room/kitchen and an outdoor patio area and good sized pool. The house is located about a 15 minute walk from Duval Street, although we hired bikes which were an excellent way of getting around town. We didn't have a car during our visit and didn't need one at all. There is a huge range of restaurants and bars in Key West. Our favourite ones were: Sarabeth's and Camille's for breakfast, Sandy's for lunch time sandwiches, Louis Back Yard for pre-dinner drinks and A&B's Lobster House, The Cafe and El Siboney for evening meals. I would definitely recommend this property, as well as Key West itself! Enjoy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just got back from a girls' weekend in Key West at Casa Feliz. Each year we say that we can't top our last vacation, well after this trip, we really can't. We absolutely had a blast in Key West and Casa Feliz was the ideal place to stay - great location, not too close to the action but a nice walk; plenty of space; wonderful pool and patio area; awesome, modern kitchen; great bedrooms and bathrooms; very clean. We loved it so much, we're already talking about renting it again for next year's girls' trip, but staying longer! And would definitely recommend it to others!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

One of the best rental place we ever had ! The house has been restored in a perfect way a couple of years ago and is decorated with excellent taste. It was fully equipped and nothing was missing... We loved the quietness of the garden/swimming pool where we spent lots of time chilling out... Although Duval Street is in a walking distance, we do recommend a car.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Discounts may be available for non-transient monthly rentals during certain times of the year. You retain the right to use, possession and enjoyment of the home during the entire period. In order to comply with City rental regulations the following also applies: Family and friends who stay at the house during the lease period must be named in the contract. No sub-leasing is permitted.
Last Key Realty requires a deposit of 50% of the rental total in order to hold the reservation, and the remaining balance is due 90 days prior to check in. Last Key Realty accepts payment via most major credit cards, as well as by check. Ask about our 1.5% discount for payment by check.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
12.5% tax & end-of-rental cleaning are additional. The first $100 of electric is included in monthly rentals. Rates over special events and holidays may be higher than the seasonal rate. Final rates to be discussed upon inquiry. Rate quotes provided verbally or by email are not final until contract is signed.
