Because of its central location in Southern California, this destination is easy to get to and is an ideal location for all seasons. No matter how you wish to spend your vacation, on the go, or luxuriating in the peace and quiet of our main attraction – the National Forest – Lake Arrowhead is fun for everyone. Our spacious home is a charming retreat in the woods with three stories and all the amenities including lake rights & beach club access. There are great views of the forest from every window. Enjoy three bedrooms and two and a half baths, and two family rooms. The lake is a three minute drive or eight minute walk from our front door. Curl up by the fire and roast marshmallows or enjoy the tranquil forest view from our wrap-around deck.
Only an hour and a half from Los Angeles, Lake Arrowhead is situated at an elevation of 5,100 feet in the San Bernardino National Forest with plenty of fresh air and clear-blue sky. Come snow ski nearby in the winter, water ski in the summer, or just enjoy taking in the beautiful views! Lake Arrowhead is a private lake that offers residents exclusive rights to use the lake and beaches. We will extend this access to our guests so they have the opportunity to experience the lake as a local. Additionally, we have a beach club membership in the summer months which will give our guests the opportunity to use private beach club with great swimming beach, lounge chairs, rafts, restrooms, snack bar and more. Fishing, water skiing, sledding, snow skiing, hiking, horseback riding, ice skating, shopping, and biking are just some of the many activities available in Lake Arrowhead. There is a beautiful spa as well as great local cuisine just minutes away. In the winter, another 30 miles up the mountain, is Big Bear Lake with access to all the snow sports. Come visit our gorgeous mountain which is home to seven different ecosystems and has more rare and endangered species than any other national forest. This is a mountain destination everyone should visit!
Our home has it all with recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms, high-end decor, wireless internet, High-definition big screen TV's with premium channels, playstation, DVD and game library, pool table, new laundry facilities, ample parking, boat parking, firewood, propane fueled grill, and more. The main level has a wonderful open plan living with brand new hardwood floors. The kitchen was just completely remodeled and it's a chef's dream! On this main level is a room with queen size bed and full bath. There is also a wrap-around deck that is baby-proofed for small children. The upstairs level has a full bath with spa tub, large master with a heavenly king bed and sitting area, and another bedroom with a full bed that enjoys its own private deck. On the bottom level is a secondary family room with convertible bed, pool table, half bath and laundry. If needed, we have crib and baby items available.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Boomhut! Great living area, nice kitchen and two excellent bedrooms. Downstairs was a bit chilly for our boys (it WAS winter!), but we were very happy with our stay. The owner was wonderful to work with, responsive to questions and needs and went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of for us! We'll be back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We've been to lots of cabins but this was by far the best! Very well maintained and clean. The tri-levels were perfect and made the home feel even more spacious. Great location too - we could walk to Blue Jay for groceries and just a 5 minute car ride to Lake Arrowhead. We were lucky enough for snow, which made our trip even more enjoyable! Thanks for leaving out the snow shovel and salt! We hope to be back soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We spent a wonderful 4 days at this beautifully renovated and spacious home. The location was terrrific, in a wooded area minutes to Blue Jay and just a bit farther to Lake Arrowhead, as well as close to the trail around the lake, which we enjoyed one day, walking into the village. Lots of upgrades in the home-the kitchen had top end appliances, 2 terrific big screen HD TVs, a pool table in the game room, which my 2 teenage boys enjoyed, updated baths and comfy beds-even fresh flowers on the dining room table. Everything was clean and well maintained and the owners were quick to respond to any questions. They even mailed us an item of clothing we accidentally left behind. Would highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very comfortable with all the amenities as promised. There isn't a lake view (as advertised) but all the giant pine trees really let you know that you are in the National Forrest, and enhance the experience. Darian, thank you, for the marsh mallows kit and a great DVD collection! Kids AND adults really enjoyed both!
