8050, now an Auberge Propery, is considered to be the most luxurious complex in mammoth. Having a combination of all the homestyle feelings of being in a house combined with the luxuries of staying in a 5 start resort, the entire experience is second to none.
The units are beautiful from the first time you walk in, boasting 2 master suites, a third bedroom with a convertable twins/queen bed, a den that is basically a bedrooom without a door, a huge living room plus a second smaller living room (perfect for the kids playroom), a gourmet kitchen plus a kitchette off the second living room. Each room is extremely confortable with huge windows, TV/DVD players, fireplaces... everythng you need for a relaxing, amazing vacation.
The property has below ground parking and, once you arrive, you never really have a need to drive again. There is a car service at the property to take you dinning, to the grocery, or anywhere else in town. To get on the mountain, you walk accross the attached bridge to the Village Gondola, grab your gear from the storage cart along the way and jump on the gondola for a 4 minute ride to Canyon lodge. There is no easier way to get on the mountain.
