This two bedroom, one bath condo in the middle of the French Quarter, will take your breath away with the typical ambience of New Orleans circa 19th Century. Luxurious furnishings, newly remodeled kitchen with stainless appliances contrast with a courtyard and swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and fountain, that one would imagine in the mid 1800's. A street level unit, it is entered from a carrriageway that is enclosed and covered, giving the impression of arriving in a carriage for a ball. The large apartment will easily accommodate 6 adults sleeping double. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a 14 inch memory foam matress that will refresh you with a good night's sleep. The guest room is furnished with a queen size bed with a memory foam mattress sleep 2. The guest room has a street view through 8 foot french doors that open directly to the street. You are 4 feet above the sidewalk level so that your view is not impeded by traffic. The bath is a poured marble shower with a comfort level commode that is suitable for the slightly handicapped. The living room is furnished with a queen size pull out sofa bed with a 4 inch matress and a 2.5 inch memory foam topper that is very comfortable for sleeping. There are 2 flat screen TV's, a 42 inch in the LR and a 40 inch in the Master with extended cable along with wireless internet for your entertainment and business needs. The kitchen/dining area is newly remodeled with granite countertops and comfortable barstools, a game/dining table that will seat 4 making a total of 8 dining places for any meals taken in the condo. The courtyard is furnished with wrought iron furniture to enjoy while lounging by the pool, or having a cocktail with your friends. If you smoke, this the place to enjoy that as there is no smoking in the condo. You are only steps away from Bourbon Street and all of its entertainment and night life. Breakfast at Cafe' Du Monde only 4 blocks away, and tour the French Market nearby. Many fabulous restaurants are within short walking distance. If you are here for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, a bowl game or just to relax and unwind with good food and southern hospitality, you will love this little piece of historical living during your stay. We know you will enjoy our home.

About the owner: We are retired but have children who live in New Orleans and visit them often. We love to try fine restaurants and New Orleans has a plethora. We like to sightsee and enjoy our Louisiana Heritage. We particularly have enjoyed the aquarium and taking grandchildren.
Why the Owner Chose French Quarter: We chose this location for its nearness of fine restaurants and its 'old' New Orleans flavor. It is close enough to our children but far enough away that they can do their thing and we can do ours.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: Enjoying the street parades during Mardi Gras, the party atmosphere that is in this neighborhood a lot of the time, shopping in unique stores not found anywhere else in the country. The artists and their galleries, music that is spontaneous.
