My family stayed at this place for 3 nights for my son's wedding in Annapolis in April 2013. There were 13 of us & we truly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and was in an excellent location. The weather was still a little cold when we were there in April so we did not get a chance to use the pier for crabbing or fishing. I would surely recommend this place! Paul (the owner) was very helpful. Thank you Paul.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

With so many bedrooms, two kitchens, and two living rooms, we had no problem fitting all 9 members of our group comfortably at Crow's Nest! The master bedroom bathroom even has a large bathtub/spa with jets! The cottage is right by the water and is very close to the public pier and beach where you can see the sunrise: it was beautiful! Paul was extremely kind and helpful in every aspect. The outside heating lamp and grill worked perfectly (with all the gases filled) and the kitchens had everything you would ever need: No need to pack pans, dishes, silverware, or even seasonings! Every inch of the whole cottage was extremely clean and was kept in great condition. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Crow's Nest sleeps many people comfortably. The location is lovely with pretty views of the water. We took nice long walks and the drive to the Naval Academy is very easy. The master has the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Paul was extremely helpful and responsive as we were booking the property. I would definitely recommend the property.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family had a delightful visit to Annapolis this winter. We celebrated a significant birthday and Crow's Nest (upstairs only) was the perfect setting for the small family gathering. The neighborhood was quiet and the view of the Bay was magnificent. It was a very cold weekend but the house provided us with the coziness we anticipated. Excellent kitchen for hanging out and cooking with multiple people. Even the family dog was welcomed with his own doggie bed!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend at the Crow's Nest Cottage. The house is bright and cheerful with lots of windows to enjoy the view of the bay. We loved all the luxury upgrades throughout the house, especially the comfy cozy beds. The kids from both families really enjoyed their own detached art studio/game room, away from the adults, but still close enough to the kitchen:) The neighborhood felt peaceful and safe. Great for riding bikes, walking, or just enjoying a sunset on the bay. From the house, it is a short walk to the private beach and pier. Best of all, it is only a short drive to the U.S. Naval Academy, City dock, and downtown Annapolis with its fun specialty shops, restaurants, and bars. We had dinner at the Boatyard Grill and Sunday brunch at the Main Ingredient. Both were excellent. It was the perfect location to decompress and we look forward to returning!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: The Boatyard Grill & The Main Ingredient are must-do's for any visit. We also recommend the Annapolis Seafood Market for fresh caught seafood - they'll even steam it on the spot for you! So glad you had a relaxing stay at the Crow's Nest Cottage. We look forward to your return visit(s)!

Four girlfriends and I rented this house to celebrate our 30th birthdays. One was pregnant and one had a newborn at home, so we just wanted a quiet, little getaway. This house was great...and accurately portrayed in the pictures. It's not right on the water, but across the street. The kitchen could be a little better stocked, seasonings, cooking utensils, etc...but the owners were very accommodating and I'm sure would be happy to fulfill your requests. We bought crabs, grilled corn, and had a feast in the backyard. We also went into Annapolis one night for dinner, which was very close by, All in all, this house was exactly what we were looking for and we had a wonderful weekend.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed your stay…and hope you will cherish fond memories of your birthday weekend at the Crow's Nest Cottage! King, King, Queen, Queen sleeper sofa (Sleeps 8 in beds), or * Crow’s Nest (Garden Level) – 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom (with double sink, tiled shower & heater fan), Dining table for 6, living room seating for 7, 2 new HDTV’s, fully fitted kitchen. - Bed layout: Queen, Queen, Queen Aerobed, Single sofa (Sleeps 7) - We have also added Hi-speed Internet (WiFi), Verizon FIOS HDTV & Telephone on both levels. - Since October 2012, we have provided a fully-stocked spice cabinet and other accoutrements for cooking, hot/cold bottled water dispenser, coffee & tea pots. This was a wonderful house for our weekend in Annapolis. It fit five adults and 2 kids very comfortably. The house was lovely, the views were awesome and the location was superb. A beach down the road and a park near by for the kids to play at as well. The owners of the home were also very great and accomodating to work with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

It was such a pleasure to stay at The Crow's Nest this fall. Our hosts were so accommodating and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed. We have small children who loved fishing on the nearby pier and walking in the neighborhood, which was close to everything we needed. We were in town for a junior regatta and found it so easy to get all the special food at nearby markets (our kids have allergies). Charming waterfront Annapolis was such a treat to explore (10 mins away). Our stay was short, but we would definitely want to come back and enjoy the area more. We stayed in the 2 Bedroom unit, but I was given a tour of the 3 Bedroom while I was there and it is lovely and spacious and as perfectly maintained as out unit was. The rooms were kept very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. Linens are new. The yard is a great place to relax (a nice hammock and a comfy outdoor seating area) and play with the kids. Our kids are active, so we need outdoor spaces for them to play. We have stayed in many vrbo homes. There can be a great range in quality and cleanliness. This home is beautifully appointed and very well kept. Highly recommended :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! You were the inaugural guests in the newly renovated "Crow's Nest - Down Under" (2BR/1BA unit). We hope you & your young sailors will consider us for future regattas...we'd love for the Crow's Nest Cottage to become your new home away from home. If you'd like to bring friends, we can offer you a choice of the upper level 3BR/2BA unit or whole cottage (5BR/3BA). Returning guests get 10% off -- over and above any promotions we may be offering during your requested dates. Come again soon!
