  My family and I spent 7 nights in this villa and we all agreed that we loved our stay here so much that it truly felt like our home in paradise for the brief time we were there. The villa was clean, spacious and the location was perfect! I would rent this property again because we loved the 24 hour gated security of the compound and the location of this villa which allowed us constant, quick and easy access to the beach. I enjoyed being able to walk less than a minute to step right onto the sand, especially with my children who loved collecting natural objects like almond pods and small coconuts that fell from the trees. There are so many rental properties in Palmas but Beach Village seems to have one of the best locations because of it's proximity to the beach. This particular property is also a good distance away from the beach club that you have privacy and quiet but close enough to walk there right on the shore line in just a couple of minutes, although we never did. We loved using the grill and eating outdoors with the ocean breeze in the late afternoon. Federico (the owner) was very easy to reach, always answered our questions and accomodated our needs and/or requests. While I gave this villa an excellent rating, the beach was beautiful but lots of seaweed washes up on the shore (although Palmas Del Mar does a great job of cleaning it out often). Also it was not well suited for swimming with young children because the small waves were a bit rough for my 3 and 5 year old. It seemed to be a great location for boogie boards and wind surfing. That being said, we still enjoyed the beach and often set up beach chairs and just spent time talking in the delight of the constant breeze under the shade of the many palm trees that lined the beach. My family and I love to venture out while on vacation so we visited other beaches in different parts of the island and got our "blue, tranquil, caribbean beach" fix elsewhere. We used the villa's swimming pool on days we rested and stayed on the property.

  This was the most beautiful and tranquil place to spend a vacation. The perfect getaway to de-stress. Beautiful beaches and sceneries awaited us upon arrival. The villa was amazing and had all the amenities of home. The place was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Great restaurants nearby – will definitely stay again.
