  We loved the property. It had plenty of room and was well decorated and cared for. The layout of the home allowed for our family to have space to gather then retreat to our rooms for privacy. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed! Would love to visit this property again!

  The house was very nice. It was clean, well stocked, and quality beds! Lots of firewood for fires. It was very close to Ouray, in fact we walked to Ouray twice. I would highly recommend, with one exception...there may have been cats in the house in the past, Our son, who is allergic to cats, had a slight reaction to the cat dander, but it was not a big deal. Otherwise it was a nice place and a very good deal.

  This is the best cabin I've stayed at so far in Ouray (3rd trip). It was clean, had all the cooking supplies, plenty of space, and a fun layout. I'll be back again next year!

  It was the perfect house for our group get a way to Ouray to spend 4 days playing in the ice park. Good accommodations and nicely updated. My only comments would be that it took awhile to heat up, even with a fire going and we ran out of toilet paper and paper towels on the last morning. But those things are minor. Loved our stay! We would definitely re-rent.

  This was one of many homes we have stayed at over the past ten years in Ouray and it is now one of my very favorites. It is quaint, interesting, fun and well kept. I would love to see what it is like in the summer also - reminds me of a lake house neighborhood we visit in Maine. Also, for a very reasonable fee, your pet can come! Ours did not, but while we were there we were at the property so much we wished we had brought her. All in all, this home is great! I have nothing but great reviews for this place, the owners are kind and positive and the kitchen is well stocked with many essential spices and all needed cookware. Very nice place, I hope to come back again in the summer if not sooner :)

  We have been to Ouray 5 times prior to this visit and really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was clean and very roomy for the nine of us. We enjoyed having a dining room big enough to seat all of us together for a meal, a kitchen with the needed supplies for cooking meals (we ate at home a lot during our week stay), a grill that worked, and plenty of spots to cozy up in and read a book (including the neat window seat!). We missed the mountain view you see staying in the town of Ouray itself but appreciated the quietness of the neighborhood. The only things we noted we didn't like was how the upstairs bedroom was open to the living room - noise tends to carry upward and if someone was using the upstairs bathroom, the master bedroom was unaccessible because you walk right through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. Probably not a real concern for most visitors - just ours with 3 teenage girls!! I would recommend this home to my friends visiting this area.

  Our friends and family absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain home. The house was so charming, clean and comfortable! We were two miles from Ouray and just a few miles down the road from Orvis Hot Springs...ahhhhh! We were also able to hike and mountain bike within minutes of the house. You can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into anticipating everything we would need for our stay. The communication and information we received about the property was also outstanding. We loved it!

  The BEST accomidations we had on our road trip! Traveling with 12 young adults with special needs through Southern Colorado was an adventure made so much better by our stay at this property. It felt like home away from home and we are so thankful to Vicki for renting to us! Absolutely beautiful house dubbed a "mansion" by some of the kids. I highly recommend staying here.

  Enjoyed our stay and the home was wonderful. Very comfortable home with everything you would want. Felt like home. We've been to Ouray many, many times and this was one of our best stays. Being able to stay in a home rather than a hotel made all the difference. So close to Ouray and 10 minutes from Ridgway. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of Guest and the following persons: (please list names of all guests): 3. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 10 persons. An additional charge or $10 per person per night for guests in addition to 10 will be assessed. 4. Term of the Lease. The lease begins at 4 p.m. on __________________ and ends at 11 a.m. on ___________________. 5. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 3 night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than 3 days, the guest will be charged the 3-night rate. 6. PET ADDENDUM It is hereby agreed by Guest that Norm and Vicki Rooker, property owners, will allow guest to have the following described pet and no others in the vacation home upon and subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and this addendum.
