  Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, and the decor lovely. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In January, we stayed at the lovely Memory Lane residence in Oxford, Md. We arrived early Saturday morning and the drive up was sunny and beautiful. When we arrived at the house, we could not believe the view--right on the water! The vacation house is comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything that we needed for our stay. While we were there, it was quite cold outside, but we made a nice fire in the living room and warmed right up. There's a nice LCD TV in the living room as well with lots of channels. The kitchen was well-equipped as we cooked at the house for all meals. We also grilled some swordfish steaks on the grill outside. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and relaxing. We could not believe the view from the master bedroom. It really doesn't get much better than that. Waking up to that view in the morning was priceless. There are several bathrooms, which was nice. The master bathroom has a nice large jacuzzi tub perfect for relaxing and reading a chapter from your book. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and do plan to go back to this same house next time we are in that area. The area itself is really nice and there's lots to do. We felt that every need was met and all that was left for us to do was to relax.

  In January, we stayed at the lovely Memory Lane residence in Oxford, Md. We arrived early Saturday morning and the drive up was sunny and beautiful. When we arrived at the house, we could not believe the view--right on the water! The vacation house is comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything that we needed for our stay. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was very spacious and comfortable; lots of different spaces for different types of relaxing. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything necessary to prepare a Thanksgiving feast. Great place for dogs and walks, sunrises and sunsets. The property owner and managers could not do enough to make the stay a very pleasant and enjoyable one.

  Oxford is just a short hour+ from DC, Northern VA, or MD...and once you land in this friendly town and drive up to this house, you'll feel like you've just landed in New England with all the charm and history of a NE coastal town... This house is made for anyone who needs a quiet get away. It's big enough for a large family, every bed room is huge and no one will ever have to wait for a bathroom, there's one for every room. The house has lots of room for get togethers or going off for some quiet time. If you're looking for a romantic get away, the master bed/bath is like a honey moon suite with lots of privacy. I visited this house with a group of friends. This house was just perfect. The kitchen/dining room is perfect for hosting dinner and cocktail parties. The gardens are beautiful and the house boasts views of yachts sailing by. We enjoyed ourselves, there was not one amenity we couldn't find. The owner's of this house have thought of all of it. It's the best of both worlds -- entertaining at home while on vacation. The house is beautifully decorated. Every room was impecable and no detail was overlooked. From the house, you can basically walk anywhere you need to go. You can walk into the quaint friendly town; take a stroll down to the "strand" where you can layout on the small beach or go swimming; and just down the block is the marina where you can dine, hang out for drinks and live music, or hit the home made ice creamery (to die for). If you want to explore there's lots of history, shopping, and nightlife in nearby towns which are just a short car or ferry ride. We were only there for a long weekend so we were fine settling in and parking the cars for a few days. We'll definitely be back....and I don't want to forget to mention that our four legged family members were allowed to vacation with us in this beautiful house in paradise! Verydog friendly area.
