  Our family LOVED staying in this beautiful beach house! It was spotless when we arrived and we were welcomed with a note from the owners and a bottle of wine. This house is beautifully decorated and yet very child friendly. This house is spacious and open. The main living space opens up to a fabulous screened porch where you can dine or just sit comfortably on the outdoor sofa. The outdoor shower, with warm water, was a huge bonus! No sand in the house. Our youngest loved sleeping in the cute little sleeping nook and our older children loved having a king sized bed. We all slept better in this house than we do at home. Between the dressers, built-ins and spacious closets, we had more than enough room for our belongings and for the week, this house felt like home. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. Very well equipped! The bar area, did, too. There is a grill at the pool house, not far away, but not at Cloud Nine. We loved riding the provided bikes everywhere. The week we stayed it was cold and instead of looking for crabs on the beach at night, we watched movies on the very comfortable and roomy sofas in the family room. This clean and fresh home has special touches everywhere! The decor is fabulous! The owners have thought of everything, down to beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and a wagon to get the beach easily. The pool is a quick walk or bike ride away. The beach is not a long walk over the boardwalk. (Our youngest is six and had no problem with the walk.) The area is so pretty! the dune lakes are so cool. The ocean is gorgeous and we practically had the beach to ourselves. Watersound West Beach is a quick trip to the shops and restaurants in Seaside and Watercolor, but it is away from all of the crowds. It is an easy and quick car ride to the grocery store, Publix, on 98. Watersound West Beach is close to Charlie's Donut Truck in Alys Beach, too! Ths house is right in between Seaside and Rosemary Beach. Perfect location. The heated pool was never crowded and we enjoyed meeting the other nice families who were there. We did not opt to spend time at the beach club at Watersound. The owners were delightful to work with and easy to contact. Really, this home exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend Cloud Nine to family and friends and to anyone searching on vrbo. You won't want to leave. Cloud Nine is a perfect family house for a wonderful vacation.

  My family has stayed in several homes and communities along 30-A over the years and Cloud Nine is now our favorite. The home is beautifully decorated and very well appointed. From the beach towels to the cooking supplies, everything was included. The bikes that were provided were a huge hit. The short ride over the incredibly picturesque boardwalk was wonderful and the beach was spectacular. We also enjoyed the heated pool and the puttery park. We watched a movie almost every night and the surround sound made it feel like we were at the theater. I loved how comfortable the beds and linens were! We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation and can't wait to return!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  Our stay at Cloud Nine was so nice!! The house is new, clean and tastefully decorated. The owner was so pleasant to deal with and helpful with every detail!!! The week before our trip she sent us directions to the house and access was easy with the keypad. We had 7 adults and 2 infants in our group. There was plenty of room for everyone. We loved having 3 king size beds--the linens were yummy!!! Only negative was all the construction going on around us. However, this will end soon and "Cloud Nine" will be a wonderful spot to take our family to once again!! Our summer vacation to Water Sound 2012 received a "Gold Medal"!!!

As a family that has stayed in many rental properties, we have really tried to make our home especially comfortable - including providing higher-quality mattresses, bedding, towels and finishes. We have had some construction the past couple of months but that should be winding down in the weeks to come and we will have new beautiful cottages in the neighborhood.

  "Cloud Nine" is a beautiful, clean, and super comfortable home offering a flexible layout for multiple families. The house and rooms are larger than we expected and there was very little sound carry over from the first floor family room to our preschooler sleeping upstairs. The house is furnished with higher end dressers, seating, lighting, blinds, bedding, and televisions. We enjoyed the complimentary use of bikes, beach toys, laundry supplies, wireless, cleaning supplies, and beach towels. The owner was very helpful in answering all our questions before our stay and even sent us an email upon arrival to make sure that everything was okay. From the house, it's just a short walk or fast bike ride to the community pool and beach, and an easy drive to the shops and restaurants in Seaside or Rosemary Beach. Note: you can borrow golf putters for Puttering Park from the Watersound Beach office. We hope to be back soon for another relaxing vacation!
