If you want to stay within walking distance of Shands Hospital, the VA Hospital, the Veterinarian School, and University of Florida campus, this is the place for you. No hassle, no parking headaches, and all the amenities you need for a short or long stay in Gainesville.
The longer your stay, the lower your daily rate (the nightly rate is $125/ night, but the weekly rate is $72/ night + taxes and the monthly rate is $50/ night + taxes).
We are also always happy to give suggestions for favorite restaurants, Gainesville activities, day-trips, etc... we strive to make sure that all of our guests have a 5-star experience. The owners are very involved in the community, so they keep up to date on Gainesville activities and happenings and pass along suggestions to their guests.
You have two fantastic restaurant areas just 5 minutes away. Downtown Gainesville is just a 5 minute drive away, and the Archer Road restaurants are just 5 minutes away as well. If you prefer to travel by bus, there is a bus stop just steps away from the apartment.
This apartment is on the first floor for easy access, and is newly remodeled with all new furniture and electronics. You will be extremely comfortable. While the outside of the condo buildings have an outdated 70s look, the inside of my fully renovated condo is very 2013! And the location couldn't be better.
The apartment is fully furnished to accommodate 4 people. The bedroom has a queen bed with a very comfortable Tempur-Pedic type mattress with an aloe layer for a cooling effect. We have a blow-up mattress for additional guests. We have furnished a Keurig coffee maker for easy coffee making in the mornings.
On-site amenities include 2 pools and 2 laundry facilities. The apartment is 575 SF. We are also always available if you need suggestions for outings, restaurants, etc...
The owner is an avid nature photographer, so is very familiar with all of the great spots to see alligators, bison, horses, birds, flowers, beautiful Oak Hammocks... you name it! Our son was going in for surgery @ Shands Hospital. This apartment is located walking distance to the front door. The apartment played as headquarters for our get away from the hospital. Nice quite neighborhood, great room layouts, friendly neighbors, and great landlords. Susannah was completely awesome. Checking in on us to see our sons condition and even calling us at home to see how he was doing. I have used VRBO in Italy and the US., and this experience will make us keep using it. Thank-you, awesome job....Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Susannah, the apartment was great. Much better than a typical box hotel room, and competitively priced. It was conveniently located to everything I needed to do that week. I'd suggest folks be careful of the telephone pole in the middle of the parking lot, but the apartment itself was wonderful. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked spacious and clean, just like the apartment itself. I'd highly recommend it for anyone requiring a short to medium length business stay in the Gainesville area. Thanks for extending your hospitality!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway.

I spent three weeks in February here and I found it to be very comfortable and convenient. The apartment is in a nice, central location. I could walk a couple of blocks and be on the vast University of Florida campus or at the Shands Medical Center. I could drive literally five minutes to Gainesville downtown where there are many nice restaurants and a Starbucks. I could drive 5-10 minutes to University of Florida events, plus every kind of shopping, cinemas, restaurants, and 10-15 minutes to golf courses. The apartment was clean and cozy, nicely decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable, and there is Wifi. There are also two swimming pools and laundry facilities in the apartment complex. You don't really have any views from the apartment, but if you are going to be spending most of your time getting out and going places that won't matter. This apartment is a great launching pad. It's a busy part of town but I had no problem with noise and no problem sleeping.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

This clean condo is located near restaurants and shoppes. It has a very comfortable bed with soft sheets and the bath is equipped with plush towels and a hand-held shower massage. The unit is near the main roads making it an excellent location to go antiquing in neighboring towns of Micanopy, High Springs, McIntosh and many more.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

I had a very pleasant stay in Gainesville at the apartment . It was very comfortable clean and well maintained completely renovated with all new furnature TV and internet access. Susannah was very helpful and very accessable if anything was needed. It is located minuets away from restraunts entertainment and shopping. I would recomend the apartment to anyone that was planning a stay in Gainesville.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

About the owner: Susannah and Brian are both Florida natives (Brian is from Gainesville and Susannah is orginally from Lake Wales). Susannah is a mom and an avid nature photographer and loves to visit all of the beautiful parks and gardens in Gainesville (Paynes Prairie, Kanapaha Gardens, city parks, etc...). She also writes and furnishes pictures for a local nature column in each issue of HOME Magazine, a wonderful local Gainesville magazine. She loves to take nature walks. She also volunteers a lot for the community and serves on the boards of the University of Florida Performing Arts, Junior League of Gainesville, Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention, and the Gainesville Community Foundation. Brian is in medical supply sales. He loves to fish, sail, and pretty much do anything water-related. They both love Gainesville very much.
