  This house is huge! Plenty of room for kids and adults. There is plenty to do, the lake is walking distance with a swimming dock and fire pit to enjoy by the lake. The house has an open floor plan which worked great with our group with a large living room, dining room and large playroom downstairs. Very nice firepit on the patio and views of the lake off the front deck. Great local wineries are minutes away as well as coffee shop and small market. There is also an apartment attached to the house with a seperate kitchen and storage. Easy parking for 5 cars too.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

  This was our second time staying at the propererty. What a wonderful place to enjoy yourself with family and friends, We had the time of our lifes. The property hads alot to offer with a great view, privacy and alot of space where you aren't on top of each other. You have rooms where you all can gather and play games, watch a sporting event, watch a movie or listen to music. You have the opportunity to eat (break bread) together at the huge dining room table. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comforatable. On both occasions, the weather was perfect and the temperture throughout the house was very pleasureable. This was home away from home for us. If you want to have fun and relaxation this is the place. The neighbors, and local businesses were the most friendliest people you would ever meet. We bowled, gambled, played golf, visited the local winiers, ate out, ate in,bar-b-qued at the property, fished, just hung out on the front porch drinking wine, talking and enjoying the view. So if you are looking for great vacation home, I would highly recommend this property. We are looking foward to come back every year. Thank you for the opportuinty in sharing your home!   We stayed here for 3 nights during Labor day weekend and it was the most memorable stay of our lives. We were a big group of 18 folks with 12 adults and 6 kids and had a great time at the place. The property owner was very accommodating for all our needs. There was a lot of space for all of us and the the kids had a pretty good time too. Some of the views from the property were pretty breathtaking. There was a lot of outdoor patio space where we would just lie down and watch the stars. The place is about half a mile to the lake where there are a lot of activities for all of us. The property is pretty well maintained and the photos in the listing provide a pretty accurate idea of what the place is like. I would definitely recommend this place for large groups with kids and would definitely visit again.

  First, postives - Great Location, walkable distance to club house with private access to beach and gulf course, very nice and friendly people in the town. The property is big with 6 bedroom on two levels and easily fitted our big party of 20 people, of course, we had to use the extra beds available in the house. Kitchen was furnished like the website claims. A property manager was available, if you have questiuons or need something. Now, negatives - the property maintenance was very bad and disappointing. There was dust all over the house, it was so much that my cousin was down with allergies for 2 out of the 4 days we stayed there. And I was sneezing all the time because of the dust (NOT a pleasant way to spend your family vacation). Closets in almost all the bed rooms were not usable as they were already filled up with lots of clothes, furniture and other stuff, essentially we had to live out of our bags. We definetly left the house more cleanier compared to how it was when we checked-in. We felt like someone was already living either and stepped out just in time so the house could be rented. Overall, it was not a great experience with house especially after paying huge amounts of money for rental.

We feel the property is unique in its ability to provide a great location for large parties, great beach access, high quality beds, two kitchens, four bathrooms and fantastic views . We are also one of the few properties listed has a local property manager available and I personally speak with each guest to try to make their stay as pleasant as possible. If there is ever a problem with anything please call us and we will do our best to help fix it. The property is professionally cleaned before and after EVERY stay and Lake County air quality is well documented as one of the cleanest in the state of California. That said our regrets that the guest here had personal challenges with allergies during the trip which could be attributed to a number of things. We take tremendous pride in providing a clean, comfortable, fully furnished and safe property for you to enjoy. We also do the small things that I learned from being a million mile flyer and frequent business traveler myself. We start with high quality beds, towels, linens, dishes, and furnishings. The natural beauty of the region and great views do the rest. That said, it is a house not a hotel and as owner there is always something to do but I can assure you nearly all of our guest love the place and don't want to leave. With regard to clothes storage there are brand new empty dressers in ALL of the downstairs bedrooms. There is no reason to "live" out of a suitcase. There is one closet upstairs with our things and we ask the guest to respect our space and use the LARGE PATIO ROOM available off the master if they need more space than provided for that one room. I will however in the future put another guest dresser upstairs to avoid any inconvenience. As always, my family and I get great joy when others use our home to create a wonderful memory as in the other reviews and countless trips with our own friends and families. It is a magical place. I always tell people to look at the stars at night, check out the local wineries, take a dip in the lake, do a bit of fishing and sit in the BIG chairs downstairs for a lazy afternoon nap. Then you have visited my place. Thanks for the opportunity to talk about it again. Feeling great just thinking about it............... I think I will go visit this weekend! Kevin
