Our home is fully furnished with 3 queen beds, 3 single beds, a sofa sleeper, and bunk beds. Additional cot and 2 full size air mattresses are also available. Enjoy watching the dolphins, manatees playing in the gulf waters behind the home or following you as you kayak. Finish your evening off with a book or movie from our extensive selection. Weekie Wachee State Park is nearby, as well as shopping and other entertainment. Boat rentals and fishing charters are available at the marina less than a mile from the home.

This house is an excellent choice for a group that would value spending quality time together. The amenities that the house offers coupled with the quiet safe area provides you with the opportunity to truly wind down. Our group was originally 12 but when we booked the house we took the risk of inviting 4 more people to sleep 16 as it lists. We were quite happy to discover that it sleeps 16 quite comfortably! Restaurants and shopping are nearby but not so close that the hustle and bustle of traffic effects your comfort. Great choice for nature lovers and those wanting time away from the big city without being somewhere too remote.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We were a family that required 12 sleeping spaces, with 6 grandkids, under 12 years of age...thankfully. This was a decent family holiday retreat, with several amenities for the family, but formal sleeping arrangements/beds, for more than 8 persons, were somewhat disappointing, with hide-a-beds and blow-up mattresses for the excess. Bedroom beds were somewhat less than comfortable. A nice enough overall home, decently appointed, with many household accoutrements, including adequate pots, pans, utensils, full kitchen appliances, bath towels, pool towels, several spices, some cooking materials provided, on a replacement basis. No hot water kettle. Lower level games room fair, with combo pool table, air hockey, ping-pong, sleeping area for 3-4 (bunk bed), interesting bathroom with shower. Pool adequate, but sporadic heat control. Propane BBQ. Situated on a canal, so beach was not immediately accessible, except by vehicle and some distance. Four kayaks (included) provided great family fun, within the canal system, out to the Gulf, if you are adventurous. Enjoyed our stay, but family time anywhere is enjoyable. Moderate cost overall. You will need a vehicle. Lots of shopping, within 15 minutes of the house, including Super Walmart, CVS, restaurants, etc. Owners very accommodating and friendly.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Very nice property for good size family. The owner was very helpful in providing information and responded quickly when we had a couple of questions regarding the home and our stay in the area. There were 7 in our group and we had plenty of room to spread out. A larger size family would still be very comfortable. There were so many outdoor activities..boating, swimming, kayaks, fishing, scalloping etc. that we were not able to take advantage of vast book and video library or the many games that are available for use. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family, in fact I have already. The pictures were accurate, the home is in a lovely neighborhood and shopping, marinas and restaurants nearby although several locals were closed on Mondays and some closed entirely during the summer. I would not recommend renting a boat from local marinas if you are wishing to use it to scallop as most have only pontoons with small engines and they are very slow movers. The dock on the canal at this property is really nice and will easily accommodate most boats. We would love to return again for another week in the fun!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

This house was perfect for the amount of people we had which was a mix of kids 5-15 and 6 adults. The first and third floors were great along with the pool. The only disappointing feature was the lower level sleeping area and game room. It just wasn't as modern as the rest of the property. The screened in porch area was also a great feature as we had to deal with tropical storm Debbie with a lot of rain.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Hernando Beach:
This is our second home for now. We eventually intend to retire here. It is within driving distance from our house, is located less than an hour from Tampa and St. Pete/Clearwater airports. It is located in what the Floridian's call the Nature Coast...lots of dolphins, manatee, egrets, and pelicans in the area. A less populated area where traffic isn't as congested on the roads or waters.
