We have stayed here before and were very lucky hat for the extended weekend of skiing it was available and the owners worked with us so we could stay. The living room was changed for the better where the couches were moved and a new flat screen tv was added! Thanks again and we look forward to staying here again both winter and summer visits, this is the first place I look to for availability when staying in the vail areaRecommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Nice clean home with beautiful views and easy access to all Vail amenities. Wood fireplace was as advertised but no wood was provided. Other locations we have rented provided wood. It worked out because we had one of our late arrivals bring up a small supply. I think the owner should should note in the description of the house that no wood is provided. There were no linens or blankets for the living room couches but we got by with some sleeping bags. The lower level smoke detector was chirping and I suspect it just needs a new battery. The access code was wrong but after fiddling with it we luckily discovered the correct code . These are relatively small items. Overall our group enjoyed our stay at this property and are possibly looking forward to a return visit in the summer.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Our three night stay went very smoothly and comfortably. The property was in great shape, had everything we needed, and worked out very well for our purposes. The main room with the large L shaped couch is great for socializing, and the kitchen was more than sufficient. I recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great three bedroom condo. The bus stop is not extremely close, but that didn't matter to us as we drove into the village for skiing and took a taxi into the village for dinner.Did you find this review helpful? This is an absolutely beautiful home (more on the workout later). You enter and look down upon the main living area - kitchen, dining room, living room - as well as floor to ceiling windows overlooking the mountains. Stunning. Kitchen has everything we needed and loved the dining room table for our group. Also, the living room has a great fireplace for after dinner gathering time! Go down one flight of stairs to the master bedroom - it is huge! Not only is the room big, but the master bath is to die for with a big jacuzzi tub and a double headed shower. Also, a great balcony to hang out on. Go down another flight of stairs and there is the laundry room and other two bedrooms. Both have their own bathrooms - nice. One is a queen bed and the other a neat bunk bed with double on bottom and single on top, great for kids room! So now a bit about the workout. Those stairs can be a killer! Your pansy fitness instructor has got nothing of them! My words of wisdom, after a full day of skiing/snowboarding/snowshoeing, plan well and don't forget anything down there. You won't make it back up! On the other hand, if you have kids with extra energy, bet them how long it will take them to run down and get xxx item for you. Works great. ;) We will be back!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

What a find! This place was so comfy, cozy and convenient. Walking to the bus stop to get to the ski area was a breeze. 8 of us made the trip - 5 adults and 3 kids. Everybody had plenty of room for sleeping and lounging. The master suite has a killer shower! This really made our vacation a hit and we can't wait to come back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Not sure where to start.. First let me say I've never booked on VRBO before, and honestly was very hesitant but I let my girlfriend talk me into it... Not only did it surpass all expectation but saved me a huge amount of money.. OK... here's the low down on the place.. I walked in and was instantly impressed on the living room and kitchen (they didn't hold back on the appliances and cookware).. then went downstairs, yes downstairs (i will get back to that later) one the first floor (down) was the master bedroom.. Ok amazing,... bathroom, double head shower and a large Jacuzzi bath.. also in the master is a pull out couch (didn't use it but can easily sleep two).. really could have stopped there but there was another floor down.. So the bottom floor has two bedrooms, one setup up for kids (bunk bed, double on the bottom, single up top) and the other a master in most homes can easlily sleep two adults.. The two bedrooms (not the 'kids') have balcony access and there own bathroom (actually the kids bedroom has its own bathroom).. Three baths below the first floor and a 1/4 bath on the first level.. We travel with 2, adults 2, teenagers and 2, 8 year olds.. also invited friends up for a night and there was still plenty of room.. Location is private just off west vail exit, you feel like your in the middle of nowhere BUT shuttle to town is so close you can walk or drive 2 mins down to safeway/citymarket and everything and anything you need... If you want to drive to 'resort vail' your about 5 min away.. Ok two the downstairs bedrooms.. nothing better than going downhill after a night of drinking!!!!!! To top it off,the owners are so amazing that when I called to book it this winter they gave me a discount (small but they didn't have too!!) I did book for 7 days.. :) Anyway morale of this is either I'm extremely lucky or VRBO isn't as scary as I thought.. BOOK IT, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We heard about this rental from good friends of ours and came up over New Year's. Of all the places we've rented in Vail this one was by far the best for our money. The main room has huge windows overlooking the mountains. The kitchen is open to the main room and has great windows, too. We were surprised by how nice the bathrooms were (great tile work, etc). The owners obviously spend a lot of time caring for and upgrading the house. It was a bit chilly at first but once we got the heat up a bit it was nice and toasty. We stay in the mountains a lot and this place is now on our short list.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We had a great time. There is so much to do and the weather is great in the summer. House is in a great location. Can't walk to downtown, but very convenient to take bus or drive...very close. The house is nice...i would have preferred something a little cleaner, but when u say that I'm not talking bugs or anything...more like remanents of people being there before us, such as frozen food or left over alcohol. the owner is really easy to work with too. Overall this was a nice place to stay.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2001
About the owner: Tina and I LOVE our house, and would spend all of our time there if we could... alas, kids in school in Denver put a happy cramp on that! We love visiting as a family when we can...
Why the Owner Chose Intermountain:
I moved to Vail in '94 to be a ski bum for one year after college. Ended up working at the Red Lion as a bartender, and didn't leave untill '03. I lived in numerous places in West Vail and Intermountain till making the committment to purchase a place of my own, and act like I was actually part of the real world...
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The privacy of a single family home versus a townhome, condo, or hotel is unparalleled... whether a group, or a romantic trip with just the two of you...
