Ocean Front Condo Overlooking Ocean and Pool - Covered Parking 103d

We would like to describe some of the things we relish while staying at our ocean front condominium 103 D at the Ocean Club Resort in Indian Beach, NC.
First and foremost is the condo itself. It is easy to get to with an excellent view of the pool, jacuzzi and the ocean.
It has windows all across the front with a 25-foot long deck. We like to have breakfast in the mid-morning while we listen to the waves crashing on the sandy shore and see the pelicans soaring overhead. The many paintings in our condo reflect our earlier days in Florida, Cape Cod and the Caribbean as well as the Indian Beach and Salterpath locale.
Our furniture is pleasant, casual and relaxed, and our beds are very “comfy”. The nights are romantic and lush with the ocean, heated pool and Jacuzzi below and the night sky filled with twinkling stars above.
When you leave the condo, you can just lounge at the pool or on the sandy beach or visit the many restaurants, galleries, recreation centers or quaint towns and beaches nearby. And I would especially recommend the nearby fascinating NC Aquarium, the Cape Lookout lighthouse and Cape Lookout itself, and the towns of Swansboro, Morehead City and Beaufort. I refer you to our list of “things to do and see” for further ideas.
So please come and enjoy!

Our family of four just recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Ocean Club in Indian Beach. The beach was wide and uncrowded, the pool, while small, was clean and well-kept, and 103-D was ocean front and afforded great views of the pool and ocean. We liked the layout that afforded as much of the living area had a view of the ocean as possible. The den with twins was nice for sleeping arrangements. The only slight issue was the master bedroom is next to the elevator. We're early risers so this wasn't a big deal to us. All in all, an excellent stay. We are certain to return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Salterpath is unique. It is in the center of the island Bogue Banks, and fishermen park their boats by their homes on the sound side, and you can buy fresh shrimp right from the boat. Salterpath has been around for a hundred years or more. You can buy a CD of Salterpath songs and ballads at nearby Frost’s restaurant. Salter, Frost and Willis are the names that go way back.
You can buy fresh fish at Willis’s fish market on the sound, and I would highly recommend the Big Oak Drive In for fabulous shrimp burgers or barbecue and shakes. It is recommended by Southern Living. Gourmet dining is available at Carleton’s, which is in the building where the Ocean Club Spa is located. The Spa is also unique. It has a luxurious pedicure and massage area with many different variations of treatment available.
The restaurant for inexpensive, excellent dining is the Crab shack in Salterpath.
For a rainy day the Aquarium is only a few miles away in Pine Knoll Shores. Many other restaurants are available in Emerald Isle and Swansboro to the Southwest and Atlantic Beach, Morehead City and Beaufort to the North. Also, going north you can visit Cape Lookout for a tour of the lighthouse and find wonderful conch shells on the point. Boat rides at dusk offer an intimate view of the Dolphins in the sound.
For birdwatchers there are at least 54 species of bird on the island, and the Aquarium offers daily programs. Give them a call when you arrive. As you can see, we have gotten to know the place, and we love staying here, and think many people would as well!
