I stayed at this amazing house last weekend with 10 of my girlfriends for Coachella. After spending the day dancing in the desert, we were so relieved to be able to leave the dust behind a retreat back to a comfortable house that really felt like a home. There was enough space for all of us to sleep comfortably and plenty of bathrooms. I forgot to pack a hair dryer and showering stuff and was relieved to see that the bathroom (and the house in general) were stocked with these items. We spent our days lounging by the pool and and grilling. The back yard has plenty of chairs and floats and really makes you feel like you are on vacation. The house had enough bikes for us to bike a mile to town to our shuttle pick up, which made getting to the festival so easy. We wrapped up our nights soaking in the hot tub and sitting by the outdoor fire place. We had such a great weekend and staying here really topped it off. I will definitely look into staying here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

We enjoyed our entire experience at this lovely home that is walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. The home is comfortable for multi-generational groups and occasions. Family Reunions, birthdays, a bridge get away, a golfing foursome...all would work well here. The sound system and outdoor additions along with the beautiful mountain views create a wonderful ambience. The home was stocked with anything you might need. It is clear that the owners thought a lot about what their potential guests would enjoy when they outfitted the home. Ken was easy to deal with, and very responsive.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

We had 3 couples (early 40's) staying at this wonderful house. It is stocked wonderfully so that you really don't have to worry about anything. The location is perfect for walking or biking to downtown. The mountains in the backyard are a fantastic view. The house is great...the pool, spa and outdoor entertaining areas are great. You can even get away from each other if needed and have a little quiet time. Inside the kitchen is perfectly supplied with anything you would need. The house is beautiful and very comfortable...it was hard to leave at the end of our vacation! The owners were great - making sure everything was up to our expectations. Four ladies spent a relaxing, fine time in this beautiful house. . The setting with view of the mountains is breath-taking and we never would tire of it. The two patio areas are so inviting. Everything we could want or need for comfort is in the house, completely furnished kitchen, comfortable beds with luxurious linens. We played bridge, walked, and visited fine restaurants in the area plus the delightful Aspen Bakery where we shopped for special breads. So many things to do in the area but total relaxation in a quiet, relaxing area. It is a very special place.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

I took my girlfriend to stay at Ken and Q's place over Spring Break. While it's probably more space than we needed, my reasoning for renting such a big place is because it was our first trip together and I wanted us to be able to have some space and be able to have separate bathrooms and whatnot... but at the same time I wanted there to be a very intimate and romantic environment... this home ended up being absolutely ideal for this. We had a very wonderful time, and the home is precisely as pictured. There is no trick photography present; it's just as perfect as it looks in the photos. The owners are attentive without being intrusive and it's just the perfect setting for a really amazing experience. I know this home will generally - because of the number of bedrooms - attract larger groups (and it seems like it could accommodate 4 couples quite, quite comfortably), but I am here to attest that it is perfect for romantic getaways as well with a smaller number of people... I will absolutely return. Vista Las Palmas is the very ideal location, and this home is just wonderful.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

This was our second vacation at this wonderful house. My husband and I vacationed here for the first time in 2012, and knew we would be returning. The owners are very professional and friendly, and make sure that you will be very happy and comfortable here. We were thrilled with the new spa, fire pit and outdoor kitchen. Even more reason to just hang out at the house and enjoy the spectacular mountain views. You really do feel like you are staying at your own resort when you rent this house. It is private, clean and luxurious. The house is very comfortable in all respects: plenty of high quality towels, linens, dishes etc. The area is inspiring for anyone interested in mid century modern design and architecture. Walking (or biking on one of the Townie Bikes) through this neighbourhood does not get boring. The house is also very close to the "Uptown Design District" part of Palm Springs, which is the nicest part of town. We are so happy that we found this house, and hope to keep coming back!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

A really lovely property to stay in. We thoroughly enjoyed a weeks' retreat in this lovely house. The house is equipped with absolutely everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing time and Ken was a pleasure to deal with from the date of enquiry until final departure from the property. Although the house is large enough to easily accomodate a family or group I also highly recommend it as a retreat for a couple to spoil themselves in! The spa is truly superb to relax in. The area is really quiet and safe and very enjoyable to walk or bike around. My partner and i rented this house out over the New Year holiday and invited various friends to come join us. We made an excellent choice. The house has a wonderful floor plan and flow - great for hosting friends/family, entertaining, lounging poolside, in short simply having a terrific time. The mountain views from various windows are stunning. Other reviewers already mentioned how well stocked it is and I completely agree. There is even a Vitamix in the kitchen! The furnishings are great and attractive, linens are top of the line, and the house has a better electronics system than our own house (gave us great ideas). Bottom line the house is immaculate and immaculately maintained by the owners who go out of their way to ensure smooth sailing. As an example we had a small issue with a non-functional bathroom faucet and Ken was on top of it in a heartbeat. I'd say the only downside if you rent this house in the winter is the location being so close to the mountain. As the sun sets earlier than usual the shadows start appearing in the early afternoon which you probably wouldnt get as much in a house further east. The pictures on the website do not do this house justice. As soon as we walked thru the door, we knew our vacation had started and it would be amazing! Not only is the house beautifully decorated, but it has everything you could possibly want in a rental property. Not one detail was left out! From the bikes, to the ping pong table to the perfectly stocked kitchen, this house has it all. The pool, spa and BBQ spaces are stunning and state of the art and the fire pit provides wonderful evenings outside enjoying the peacefulness of the desert and the beauty of the mountains. The owners were incredibly accommodating and ready to make sure your experience as a guest in their home was a truly special one. We have stayed in other rental homes where the owners/property managers were almost non-existent, but that was not the case here! Ken and Quentin went out of their way to make sure your every need was met. We look forward to many more vacation retreats at this stunning home!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

This was our third stay at Ken and Q's house this year. We already wrote a review earlier this year, but we can't help saying again how great this house is. With its brand new addition of a huge built-in spa facing the mountains, that could easily fit the 6 of us very comfortably, of an exterior kitchen featuring a dining counter by the brand new firepit… this is where we spent most of our time! The kids enjoyed the pool at length everyday. We did great explorations of Palm Springs with the 8 bikes provided, all brand new. Inside the house everything is maintained to the highest standards, you get every and any appliance or equipment you may need, there's everything for you to prepare gourmet meals, a high-end sound system, everything! Leaving this house to fly back home is more and more difficult every time. If ever you want THE perfect place in Palm Springs for a memorable vacation, with the most awe-inspiring mountain views, in the best neighborhood, this is definitely the house you will want to book!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
