  The space was perfect for our group. There was plenty of space to gather for conversation, planning and prayer. The students enjoyed the perks of kayaks and karaoke! And the trees around the fire pit were perfect for stringing up their hammocks for afternoon naps! We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back again sometime.

  We wanted to spend a weekend getaway with family. Some place not to far away. Just 1 1/2 Hours drive away, with lots of space for our family and some to spare this Lake House was the best choice! Everything we needed was there and the hot tub was fantastic, we were able to watch a meteor shower right from the back porch over the lake!! Kid friendly with all the amenities you could need. It was hard to leave but I know we will be coming back soon!

  We had 3 families and 13 people stay at the lake house for the weekend. There was more than enough room for everybody. The house was clean, well decorated, and had things to do for everyone. The kids loved the kayaks and hot tub. The adults hung out in the screened in porch, sauna, and the comfortable lawn chairs on the dock. The property is at the end of a quiet cove with nice neighbors and plenty of water to pull the boat up to the dock. Leanna was great to work with and we would love to stay there again.

  I loved staying at this lakehouse. No other lakehouse I've stayed at has the extra benefit of the use of a john boat (with trolling motor) and I like to fish. The Wedowee Bait and Tackle is right down the road for all of my fishing supplies. The lake is large, yet not over-populated with boats, which made the fishing ideal. The house is warm and inviting. Outside, we all enjoyed sitting around a nice fire at the fire pit at night. My vacation at this house was a memorable one and I will definitely be going back there again.

  My whole family loved staying at this lakehouse. The best part was that there was something for everyone. Some enjoyed kayaking the most. Others liked the hot tub or the sauna. We all enjoyed the karaoke together. The younger members enjoyed going to the basement and hanging outside the basement door where there is a table and chairs. Us "grown-ups" enjoyed that they liked hanging out in the basement too. I would definitely come back.

  We stayed in this wonderful home over Memorial Day weekend and were thrilled. We keep a boat at Wedowee, and the convenience of this house to town is incredible. Another benefit is that this house is off of paved roads, rather than dirt roads. The furnishings are very nice and quite comfortable, and the kitchen equipment is well stocked for those who enjoy cooking. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the screened in porch was a wonderful place for morning coffee. The dock is a nice size, and there were several chairs and lounges with a small table. Overall, this has been our favorite of the 5 houses we have rented at Wedowee. You will not be disappointed! :)

  I stayed with my family at this lakehouse when my son was graduating from basic training at Fort Benning in Columbus, GA. There were 9 of us staying there and we had a great time! The accommodations were perfect for us - very comfortable and exceptionally clean. There's was something for everyone there - We all enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and kayaking. Just sitting on the screened porch, sipping coffee while watching the water was a joy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need and hopefully you'll get the pleasure of meeting the owner. She made sure that we had all the accomodaions needed for a pleasurable stay. I highly recommend staying there and will definitely be back.

  I had a fantastic time at the lakehouse, the views were incredible, the sounds and smells of nature in the air were to die for. The open and inviting feel of your home was amazing. There were so many things to do and enjoy, I wish we never had to leave. I will definately be returning, thank you so much..

  I had a great time at the last retreat. The home was so comfortable and homey. The food was fantastic and the company was great. I enjoyed most sitting on the screen porch early in the morning and hearing nothing but birds and at night listening to all of nature's night sounds. I highly reccommend this retreat !!
