I had the chance to spend a weekend here with my wife. I was looking for a unique setting that was a bit out of the way and where could unplug. I could not have imagined a more perfect location. The treehouse had everything we needed and was very comfortable. There was even an electric blanket for the bed in case we needed it. Everything about the property was beautiful (only 30 minutes from town). Looking forward to our next trip here.

I planned a group retreat for a large Tulane organization, and our stay at Juneau Safari Resort was perfect! We comfortably fit 20 students in the Treehouses and cabins, and we loved the Safari that came along with our stay. We were incredibly pleased with the lodging accomodations - the treehouses were stunningly beautiful, comfortable, and exciting! The rope bridge was certainly added excitement. There was plenty of space for group work, and we were able to break out into smaller groups to get work done and get to know each other. The Safari was the perfect break in the middle of our activities. I never expected to see zebras, peacocks, and water buffalo (among with several other exotic animals) in Lousiana. Lake Juneau Safari Lodge was perfect for our retreat, and several of us have been talking about coming back at a later date. I would whole heartedly reccommend staying here to groups of all ages, or a smaller family trip or romantic getaway. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to be back!

We really enjoyed our experience at Lake Juneau! It was secluded enough to where we could enjoy ourselves and not worry about upsetting the neighbors! Waking up to the wildlife was quite an experience. The onsite personnel onsite were great and catered to whatever we didn't have. It can get muddy but with the group we had that added to the fun.

We were a group of twelve cousin's who go somewhere each year. I found the safari park on VRBO and decided that this would be fun. I can not express just how much fun we did have. Only four of the girls knew where we were going, the rest were completely awed when we arrived. We are from Lake Charles, La, area, so we took the back way to get there and had them questioning us the whole way as to where we were going. We planned safari themed activities, each gal got a new name with its tribal meaning, we colored masks to go on our ride threw the park. Juli and Lori came with us on the ride to see the animals and they added a personal touch to the ride. The filled us in on what kind of animal we were looking at, and something about them. The fire pit was an added bonus because the nights got a little cool. Juli was wonderful, she meet all of our needs, anything we asked her for she made sure it was taken care of. Lori was also very helpful, she even called the local church to get the times for Mass.

Hello Juli, I cannot thank you enough for thinking of me last week when the tree-house vacancy came up. We had an AMAZING time this past weekend! I just couldn't believe that we were able to have such an experience, much less within 2 hours from our home! Lauri was super helpful with getting us acquainted to the surroundings and making sure that we had what we needed. She even let my kids go with her to feed the animals - which they thoroughly enjoyed. Ronnie was also great - very informative about the animals and such a nice host on the game drive. I felt like I was in paradise! My favorites included sitting on the deck and watching the humming birds swarm (I have never seen that many come so close) and listening to the birds - they were so talkative in the morning. It sounded like there was an extended conversation going on! I'm assuming that it was the African Grey who sounds a lot like you! She was even able to laugh like you - it was great! Then, when it was time to leave on Sunday, my 6-y.o. daughter, Allie, said "I feel like I felt when we had to leave Disney World". We all agreed with her! Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to have such a unique and wonderful experience! Gratefully,

""" Stewart and Juli! This weekend was certainly one of my fovorites. Everyone in our family had a great time . On our ride back, I learned that each one of us had different favorites, For Sophie, it was the ze-donk, for Rob, Little Ricky. Katherine was enamored with the Nigerian Dwarf goat, and Coco was so delighted by the swans that we will be getting a pair. For me- it was the cypress tub..Best of all was sitting around the fire and chatting. Fondly yours, Dave""""
