Redfish Village is located at the intersection of Scenic Highway 30A and County Road 83 in the quiet beach community of Blue Mountain Beach, about half way between Rosemary Beach and Sandestin. We are about a five minute drive from WaterColor and Seaside and just ten to twelve minutes from Sandestin. We offer all the comforts of home and then some. In our back yard is a large community pool with a backdrop of the nature preserve surrounding Redfish Lake. The pool is even heated on weekends and holidays during the winter months. Just a short distance from our front door is a private beach access with showers and bathrooms reserved just for the owners and guests of Redfish Village. You can enjoy the 3-4 minute walk to the beach or take advantage of the free shuttle service that runs during the spring and summer.
For the golf enthusiasts, there are many excellent courses to choose from within a fifteen minute drive, including the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, Camp Creek, and Burnt Pine. For the ladies, Serenity Day Spa, Destin Hilton Spa, and the Destin Day Spa offer all the typical spa services and are just a few minutes’ drive from Redfish. For the entire family, there is no better way to enjoy the beauty of 30A than to ride bicycles along the scenic 30A bike path. There are several bike rental shops in the area that will deliver bicycles right to your door.
You can ride west to visit Petunia's gift shop, and the shops at Gulf Place. While you're there, enjoy lunch at the Smiling Fish Cafe or possibly at Stinky's Fish Camp. A little further west is a local favorite, Elmo's Grill (just next door is a beautiful garden shop). If you ride east from Redfish Village, you will soon come to Grayton Beach, WaterColor, and then the famous village of Seaside. Take a few minutes to enjoy the art at The Blue Giraffe in WaterColor, or the Artist Colony in Seaside. No stop at Seaside is complete without a visit to the Modica Market, a family-owned and operated gourmet and specialty market right in the town square. Walk in and you will take a step back in time. At that moment you will congratulate yourself for choosing the right venue for your family vacation.
After an active but relaxing day in our beach community, it will be time to treat yourself to one of the fine restaurants along 30A. For a casual upscale beach bar and restaurant experience, you won’t go wrong at The Red Bar in Grayton Beach. Be sure to sample the best crab cakes outside of Maryland! If it's Italian you are craving, visit Borago in Grayton Beach right on Hwy 30A. If you find yourself in Seaside close to sunset, drop in to Bud & Alley's and ask for a table upstairs. As the sun sets on a beautiful day over the Gulf you will swear you are in paradise! You'll find more dressy casual locals at the new "V" in Seagrove Beach or at Café Thirty-A, one of the mainstays. If you are adventurous, have an after dinner cocktail and desert around the pool in Alys Beach, then dance the night away at the Old Florida Fish House.

Wonderful condo exactly as discribed. The cleaning service did a horrible job cleaning the hardwood floors. We had to wear shoes indoors the entire visit because our feet got black from walking barefoot on them the very first day. The young man, who was in charge of the shuttle to the beach, was very unreliable. It wasn't that far to the beach, but we had four small children 18 months to 6 years and crossing the road was very dangerous with them. They loved the pool. The smoothie shop, coffee shop, and chicken restaurant were out of business in Red Fish Village. The management company representing this condo was very helpful. Other than the few negatives, we very much enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
