This smoke free 1 bedroom 1 bath condo is located 4 miles from Winter Park in Fraser, Colorado, in GRAND County . Our quiet 1 level home is street level for easy access and is wheel chair accessible.
Spectacular views of Byers Peak can be seen from our family room and our private deck.
The bedroom has a queen size bed and large sliding glass door closet. The large family room space allows for an additional futon that was meant for sleeping on, (springs for comfort). There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience.
The extra large family room offers two comfortable sofas with cozy throw blankets that can be used when warming up in front of the gas fireplace. A 37” Plasma/HD television has a full line up of cable channels (including High Definition) for your enjoyment. Free Wifi is available in our condo. You will also find a selection of books and games to enjoy in your spare time. A dining room adjoins the family area and is capable of seating six people around a rustic wooden table.
The kitchen contains all the necessary appliances needed for all your cooking needs. The counter also has 2 bar stools for a more casual seating arrangement when needed.
Just down the road from the condo is a full size Safeway grocery store to help stock up on your provisions for your vacation. If you don’t want to cook, Winter Park has many outstanding restaurants to meet any hunger needs.
In the winter, no need to drive to the slopes. A free shuttle will pick you up and return you back just a short distance from the condo at the Safeway. If you enjoy Nordic skiing, Devils Thumb is 6 miles down the road.
In the summer, Winter Park and the Fraser valley is known for its 600+ miles of trails for mountain biking and hiking. A scenic hiking/bike path is located just behind the Safeway and it winds and curves its way to the town of Winter Park and ends at the base of the slopes.
Nearby attractions include Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, Granby Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake (for all your water sport needs) and Pagosa Springs (hot mineral springs). Pole Creek golf course is a few miles down the road and has amazing views of the valley surrounding this public golf course.

Very nice condo, clean and well maintained. It actually looks better than in the pictures.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

We really liked your condo. The location was excellent, it was clean, had lots of charm, etc. I would consider renting it again. I did have trouble with the door lock almost every day, and you should address the issue with the mold in your shower. Other than those two things, we loved it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Why the Owner Chose Waterside West:
We choose the Winter Park area because it is less crowded than Summit County, still has amazing skiing at 3 ski areas and is excellent for mountain biking, and hiking in the summer.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The ski shuttle picks up at the Safeway, it is only 20 minutes to Devil's thumb ranch, 5 minutes from the tubing hill and there is a small pond on the property, miles of hiking/snowshowing/mountain bike trails starting behind the Safeway.
