  We rented Marcelin's house for my wife's 30th and had a wonderful stay. The house is spacious and sleeps 6 comfortably, but can fit 8-10. It has an open layout, large dining room, plenty of room for parking and an awesome porch to hang out on. Very clean and secure, I'd recommend this place to anyone planning a trip with friends or family. We'll definitely be back next visit!

  The host Marcelin was very friendly and we had no problems with the house at all. Great place to stay, good amenities, and interesting layout. The only problem is that you have to cab or drive, there isn't much that's walking distance. Otherwise we had a great time and I would highly recommend this house to friends.

  Beautiful home and perfect for our stay! I would definitely recommend this property. We had 5 adults and 3 children and everyone was comfortable in the home. Marcelin was very easy to work with and provided everything we needed for our stay.

  My friends and I rented this house for a couple nights to celebrate our last holiday before graduating. The house was perfect for eight guys and slept us all comfortably. We had more than enough room to relax, eat and hang out. The porch was a great bonus on nice evenings. The property is also located conveniently for taking cabs all over New Orleans and had off street parking for our two cars. If you don't rent this house you are missing out! We couldn't have asked for more and I would recommend this place to anyone.

  This is our second time staying at Marceline's guest house for Mardi Gras. The accomodations are very nice, clean, and modern with a mix of New Orleans southern decor! She has taken our comments from last year and incorporate them so that there is an additional room for sleeping. This house is great for family or friends planning a trip and wanting to house share rather than hotel. You can easily get to downtown/FQ or other neighborhoods using your own transportation or the bus line runs on Napoleon. The drive way parking is lighted and enough for 4 cars. Eight persons (2 per room) will be comfortable in their own room but if someone wants to use a front room couch they are comfy too. Marceline is a pleasiure to work with and quickly responds to any calls. We will definetly be back for our other stays in the Big Easy.

  The house is beautiful and roomy! There was a small problem with bathroom lock and was repaired the very next day. It was beautifully and tastefully decorated for the Christmas Holiday season! The Manager was a joy to work with! The property was clean and well maintained. I would recommend the property to anyone looking for a great place to stay! We plan to return again next year for the holidays! You are close to any of the major attractions 10 minutes by car.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  This is a great location. Close to all New Orleans attractions in a very quiet neighboorhood. The house amenities were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly reccommend this location.

  Let me begin by saying that Marcelin was really great! She was nice and accomodating. There was an issue when we arrived but I called and she had it fixed as quickly as possible. She was very kind and her family was very pleasant. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. The house is beautiful and has plenty of room for 7 girls to spread out. The front porch was awesome and we were so grateful for the amount of parking. The house was exactly like the pictures, nicely decorated and clean. Everyone was very pleased and there was not one complaint about the house. We would definitly recommend this house to anyone who plans on going to NOLA. As far as the location, we felt totally safe and at ease. It was also close enough to walk to the street car or bus stop. I would recommend just getting a cab because the buses and street cars are PACKED with people and it takes a long time to get from point a to point b. Cabs are cheap and its close enough that you can get back and forth to french quarter for under 10$. This place was worth every penny and I hope that people will stay here. It was great and Marcelin was super.

  Marcelin was awesome. There was a hiccup in the beginning BUT she went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly after that. She was very accomodating and we couldn't have asked for better treatment by her and her family... Very kind people! As far as the house goes, it was PERFECT for what we needed. We had 7 girls come in for the weekend and everyone slept comfortably and there was more than enough space. The furnishings were beautiful and the place was very clean. The location was really good. Walking distance to street car or bus stop. Honestly, a cab is the way to go though. It was about 20$ for 7 girls each way to bourbon st (wouldn't be that high with a smaller group). Not bad split with that many people though. Close enough to everything you could need. Safe area. Would definitly stay there again!

  Our stay at Marcelin's on Neapoleon was great! The house was very clean and comfortable. There were 4 of us and there was plenty of room to spread out. The owner is very pleasant and responded quickly to every question I had. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings and relaxing. When we come back to New Orleans again, we will definitely stay here again!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
