  Really liked the quiet. Last trip we stayed at the Kamaole Sands and noise from neighbors was very annoying. Beach chairs were a huge plus, carry straps made it easy to get them to the beach. Nice comfortable beds and the ceiling fans kept the rooms cool at night. One negative would be the lack of a view. But having the quiet made up for that. We were unfortunate that the period we were there just happened to be when the buildings were being painted. A minor inconvenience during the day so not that big a deal. We will certainly keep this on our list of places to stay for future visits.

  We just checked out of this condo and had a great stay. I would highly recommend -- the pictures are excellent, but don't really show case the size and excellent layout of the place. Bedrooms were huge, with gigantic closets in each one. Everything was stylishly furnished and totally updated, including appliances, bathrooms, etc. The owners have really thought of everything -- down to reusable glass tupperware to take to the beach, to lawnchairs, to laundry soap, extra paper towels, and a few board games and decks of cards. There would be plenty of space for 6 people to stay with enough room to sprawl out. You also get to enjoy a small ocean view -- and I thought the short walk to the beach (2 blocks) was very manageable -- otherwise you can drive your rental car down to the driveway entrance and park in one the numbered spots for free, then just cross the street to kam 3. In terms of location, this place is ideal -- walkable to wailea, close enough to the hotspots in kihei, but away from the central kihei traffic. The only dealbreaker would be if you have very loud children -- we had a few toddlers staying with us, and as they were chasing each other one morning, we got a visit from a downstairs neighbor. We apologized and he seemed very understanding, but if you know your kids will be loud and cannot use "quiet feet" then this place may not be ideal. We warned ours once, and never had any other problems. The pool was also nice -- small and kind of bare bones if you will, but perfect for young children and very clean. The tiling on the pools (large pool, wading pool for kids, and hot tub) was very, very nice. The groundscrew is also quite meticulous - I was impressed to see they scrubbed the outdoor grills every day and even swept the asphalt parking lot! Overall, this is probably the best value in Maui. You can't find anything close to this for the price. Highly recommend.

  The unit was very nice, well equipped and very clean. It held us all very nicely and we had a great time in Kihei. We even had a Tsunamis warning for entertainment, although it broke up the wedding reception at the 808 Bistro. It was very nice of Mary to call and check on us during this warning. Lots of drama. Although there was a tea kettle in the unit, there was no tea pot, so we found one at the thrift store, used it and donated it to the kitchen. It has little fishes on the glaze. The four beach chairs provide with the unit were wonderful and well used. The washer & dryer is really useful. Mahalo

  We loved staying at this condo! it is in the perfect location and it is easy to access the beach, shopping, restaurants - everything. Everything about the entire transaction was great from beginning to end! The people who manage this condo are very accomodating, easy to work with and willing to go the extra mile! They really do care about making your stay wonderful! Also, they are always available and will email or call you back quickly! I can't say enough nice things about them and the beautiful condo. I will be reccomending this to many many friends and families!

  Listing was accurate regarding location, photos reflected appearance & amenities, clean and well maintained. Owner & manager helpful in answering questions. I would recommend this property to others. Please note condo is on the 3rd floor/no elevator. Near by activities, beach, snorkeling trip,Paddle Board lessons, Road to Hana. Coconuts Fish Cafe, Pu Pu Lounge, Monkey Pod, 808 Deli, Gannon's Restaurant, Star Noodle in Lahaina. Check out yelp for more ideas.

  We stayed here in January and were so pleased to find a 3BR condo with somewhat late notice. The condo was very well put together, bedding comfortable, amenities provide (same as listed by the other commenters). It gets a little hot in the late afternoon but opening up the windows and doors solves that quickly. Kitchen well stocked enough to cook a family dinner in. Great location with inexpensive and delicious eats near by. Neighbors are definitely sensitive to noise both at night and in the morning. We received a noise complaint because our 6 month old was waking at 5AM and we would start moving around and talking. We made a concerted effort to stay quiet and no further complaints were made.

  I really liked this condo. It was very comfortable and clean, and the location is great. The furnishings were newer and tasteful. It had a good amount of beach gear and kitchen equipment, plus laundry. Kamaole Beach III is close enough to walk to (maybe 5 min). It's not as close to the beach as some of the other condos in the area - but you don't get the noise from the road traffic. Also it's on the 3rd floor, which was not an issue for me, but worth noting if you have problems with stairs. In this area, I've also stayed at the Maui Coast Hotel, and I much preferred the condo. Would definitely recommend if you are in Kihei. I was there by myself, but I think it would be an especially good deal for a family or multiple travelers, as it is pretty spacious.

  This place is located one long walk across the parking to the beach, very great location. It is in an older condo, but the place is very clean when we arrived. It has a lot of the kitchen amenities, but only salt and pepper, sugar and coffee filter to keep things simple. Beds are comfy, we rest well. The bathrooms are very clean, and they even included cute little travel size toiletries. There are lounge chairs, and some sand castle supplies for us to take to Kamaole III State Park to chill. Balcony was a great place to take breakfast. The places does get hot, but you can open the front and back window, and the draft will cool down the place quickly. The security is great, we got a little loud after coming back from a wedding, and within minute we got a little visit. Opps! Great value and fairly easy dealings. Will stay again.

  This Kihei Shores condo was a perfect fit for our family! It is spacious, clean and bright, and fits a family of 4-6 very comfortably! The renovation done on this condo (altho we didn't see the previous condition) was thoughtful towards comfort. The beds are large and comfortable with great bedding. The washer/dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove/oven, microwave and fridge/freezer all work great. There are 6 large beach towels, beach toys, chairs, foam worms, sand mats and 2 boogie boards to use. We used the AC maybe twice b/c the windows and ceiling fans keep the rooms plenty cool. The pool (including a kiddie pool) and hot tub are kept clean and altho we wished they opened earlier (10am) we will take a clean pool over more time to swim in it any day. The beach (KIII) is a nice clean beach with small to medium sized waves for boogie boarding and rocks to climb on, and the grassy area b/w the condo entrance and the beach is great for sunset viewing, kite flying, and playing. The best part of this condo and making the reservation is the property owner, Kate. She is very professional, prompt in correspondence and happy to help make your vacation one to remember. The Maui bus stop is right at the entrance to Kihei Shores so if not renting a car, getting around town is easy and cheap. A nice easy walk to Fred's Mexican and shopping.
