A classic beach cottage within easy walking distance of village, shops, restaurants, East Beach and the King and Prince. Beach is just across the street with easy access. Great natural setting.
Lovely pool lounging and cooling off. Large kitchen great room for family style entertaining. Large Screened porches up and downstairs to catch the ocean breezes. Each bedroom has private bath plus half bath on first floor. Laundry room off kitchen. Cottage has been recently refurbished and decorated. Plenty of off street parking.
One of the few real beach cottages left.
New decks, patio doors, landscaping, decor and handicap ramp added in 2013.

My family of 5 spent a perfect week in August at this wonderful home. With plenty of room to spread out and more bathrooms than we could use, we absolutely fell in love with this cottage. This house retains the great character of older homes, but has all the updates you will enjoy. The pool was a hit with our 3 kids and has set us up to always include a pool for future beach rentals. The beach was an easy walk across the street even with all the gear we required. The beach is tide contingent, so be sure to get the tide schedule and plan your day accordingly. A few times, we just had to walk down towards the King and Prince to get a bit more beach. The screened in porches were comfortable and a nice escape. We enjoyed the bikes and rented bikes for our children. We thoroughly enjoyed this house and it's location. We will be back again! About the owner: After vacationing in St Simons for years we're excited to have a place of our own so near the water. We're looking forward to spending lazy days listening to the ocean and walking the beach.
