  We spent 6 wonderful weeks in this condo, which has a newly remodeled kitchen. :) Overall, it was comfortable and quiet, and we would stay there again! P.S. The owner was great to work with.

  We had the best vacation we have had in years. The beach was so close and easy to get to. Grandchildren played so well and did not want to come home. The Beach House was perfect and felt so comfy, puzzles were made, food cooked and love, laughter and soccer Surf Cup was experienced. Torrey Pines hicking was very close and breathtaking as was the Zoo. We loved it and would go back anytime. Thank you

  We stayed here for 2weeks. The unit although in an older building is either updated or very well maintained. Great parking. The hardwood floors and a new kitchen were lovely. Great location for just a short walk to the beach, a short drive into town or the racetrack. Great access off I5. Owners were great to deal with and we felt like we were staying in a friends home. Thanks!! Can't wait to return.

  Our family has stayed at this property twice, another Del Mar condo (within 25 yards), condos in Newport and San Clemente. Of all of these places we have enjoyed, our favorite is this this property. We are amazed at how roomy the condo is for a property located a few feet from the beach. The kitchen is well-appointed and the condo has everything you need to relax and enjoy a fantastic setting. The owners are wonderful people, helpful and provide excellent recreational and dining suggestions. We heartily recommend this place!

  We stayed at this condo last week during our vacation, and it was perfect for our family of four. The condo was close to the beach (one block away, with ocean views and breezes!) and was easily accessed from the highway, which made it convenient for visiting the San Diego Zoo, Sea World and other sightseeing. The condo is clean and well-maintained and has a new kitchen and flat screen TVs. The owner is very pleasant and responsive. Our only recommendation would be to install ceiling fans in the bedrooms because the street in front of the condo can be a little noisy (as another reviewer noted) particularly at night but, then again, it was hotter than usual during our stay and all of the windows and doors were open. We loved this condo and would definitely stay there again.

  Not directly on the beach, but in a very opportune location. It's located perfectly between the Fair Grounds/Race Track and the best beaches in Del Mar and Solana Beach. I felt comfortable enough to let my kids cross the street and walk down 27th Street to access the beach (shown in the listing photo). At that particular location there's a lifeguard station and designated swimming area. There's a bit of construction going on if you head south a couple of miles into Torrey Pines, but there is still access to the beaches - some of the best. Lots of space to bike and run in the area! The condo was clean and most of it was recently updated. Some areas haven't been updated since the 80's, but are well-kept. The west-facing position allows for a nice breeze to blow through the condo any time of the day. The elevator and corresponding inspection were out-of-date. This could be considered an inconvenience if you needed wheelchair access. We ended up taking the stairs most of the time. The owner was responsive and honest about how many people the place could sleep. There are enough beds for 4-people, but the couches are large and comfortable enough to sleep another 2 adults. Some other attractions in the area are the Pacific Coast Highway - easy access to everywhere from Ponto Beach in Carlsbad to the Coves at La Jolla. There are restaurants of all kinds as well: Woody's in Solana for amazingly affordable champagne brunch on Sundays Milton's in Del Mar for a delicious variety any day until late Su Casa in La Jolla for great carne asada, table-side guacamole, and tasty margaritas Out-of-towners - don't miss Pizza Port or Naked Cafe in Solana I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends.

  We enjoyed our stay in Del Mar. The Condo was great. Everything we needed was provided and in good working condition. The view is good and it is a very short walk (about 1 block) to the beach. A small improvement would be the addition of an A/C unit. The breeze off the ocean keeps it plenty cool with the windows open, but the noise off of Camino Del Mar can be a little loud at times. Otherwise it was an excellent stay and Doug (the owner) is very friendly and easy to work with. Thank you.

  Very nice condo in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, it is walking distance to del mar restaurants and a block away from a beautiful beach. I highly recommend this place.

  We had the most relaxing, fun time! The condo had tons of room. You can't find a better location! Easy access to the beach and great shopping boutiques. It was clean and had an elegant, yet beach-house feel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. We can't wait to book again. Anywhere else would be disappointing.

  Our family stayed in this condo for a week and had a wonderful family vacation. The condo was clean and comfortable with a nice kitchen. The beach was very close by and beautiful, really what else do you need? If you do want to venture further, some of the other conveniently located things were Torrey Pines (a beautiful state park with easy hikes and fabulous views), Birch Aquarium, Torrey Glider Port (you can order lunch while you watch people take-off and land para-sails), and Fletcher Cove which has a playground as well as some great views and a nice spot to play on the beach. The Condo is close to I-5, so it didn't take us long to get anywhere we wanted to go in the whole San Diego area. We will definitely be back.
