  Our family, which included 2 adults and 4 teenagers, had a wonderful stay. The house was exactly as advertised but even more relaxing than I thought it would be. The private backyard with the pool and beautiful landscaping were such a treat. Even the kids said that was one of their favorite things about the trip. The house had everything we needed to play in the pool, hit the beach, make meals and even had games for all ages. The beach was just a short walk away and perfectly safe for our kids to go to on their own. We loved being just off the busy main street yet it was close enough to walk to some shops and restaurants. Joe was great to work with and I would highly recommend staying if you are looking for a nice, quiet, home-like place to stay.

  My wife and I stayed here for the month of January, this year one of the warmest on record, made the pool use exceptional. The location of this home is its best kept secret, on the end of a dead end street, so no traffic. Also only a short walk to the gulf with access in different locations. Joe the owner is great to deal with and the best rental landlord I have had. Well maintained home, everything you need and more. Within walking distance of many of the islands shops and restaurants. On many occasions we walked to Pine street area about a mile and half each way, great exercise and sidewalks all the way. Had a fantastic month on Anna Maire and this rental home was a huge factor.   Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We (4 adult sisters) just returned home from what has turned out to be too short of a stay on Anna Maria Island. First of all, Joe is great to rent from! He is readily available to answer any questions and he has a lot of information at the house to make your vacation on the island enjoyable. The house is clean, spacious, organized, and it is so close to the beach. Joe has everything at the house you would need for a great beach vacation. There is even a red wagon to use to transport towels, chairs, etc. to the beach. The pool area is extremely clean and there is plenty of privacy even though the houses are close together. We loved this home and the island. Anna Maria is such a beautiful island and easy to get around on. There is a great free trolley system that we used to get around the island. Some of us are planning on coming back to the island with our individual families. We definitely would rent this home again. Thank you Joe for sharing you home with us!

  Just got back from a wonderful week with our boys (ages 2 and 5) in Anna Maria Island. This property was perfect for us - spacious, very clean, and well-stocked with everything for a great vacation. The owner was extremely helpful and well organized and available to answer all our questions. We really appreciated all the toys - pool, beach and inside toys and games - that kept our kids occupied. The beach was a very short walk, made especially convenient by the beach cart, beach chairs and umbrellas provided. We will definitely be back.

  We loved our stay at this house. Plenty of windows give a nice warm feel to the inside. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool and patio have enough landscaping to provide sun or shade. An umbrella that can fit right into the pool was a great touch. There were plenty of pool/beach toys for kids and the owner was great to work with. You won't go wrong with this one.

  We had a wonderful vacation! Sooo relaxing and quaint. Everything was as accurate in the listing and Joe was very nice and accomodating. The house is bigger than it looks from the outside, very clean and crisp, comfy beds too! They even have beach chairs, toys,etc... and wagon to take them to the beach. It was so nice having the private pool after a day at the beach. We rented bikes for the week and rode them all around the island, you see things in a different way than from a car. Our sixteen year old daughter thought she would be board without her friends but she actually admitted enjoying the family time and we are all looking forward to returning soon.

  A group of friends decided on the spur of the moment to visit Anna Maria Island. To our great luck, we discovered there was an opening to rent this well kept and convenient house. The owner was easy to work with and responded quickly considering the short turn around time we gave him. The house was clean, delightfully decorated, a short walk to the gorgeous beach, and slept 6 adults easily. We enjoyed the trolley provided by the island and, with the trolley stop close to the house, we could sightsee or go shopping without using our cars on Anna Maria. We loved the restaurants on the beach, plus easy access to a local shopping center. All in all, a fun time and a great value -- one we wish to do again.

  I stayed in this lovely home for the month of Dec. 2011. It was immaculate, comfortable, clean and really one of the nicest proprties I looked at on the island...and I looked at several! It has everything you'll need for all the comforts of living away from home, and for vacationing, and the owner was very accomodating. The location is great and steps away from the beach.   Right before a busy holiday weekend, my fiancée and I decided to go to Anna Maria Island, and we were lucky that this house was available. Joe didn't take online payment at the time, and since we had to work fast, I was worried at first that we'd arrive without a place to stay. He was easy to work with, though, as we hustled to FedEx a check and the signed rental papers in time for our arrival. It worked out just fine, although I did sweat a little bit. The house is sweet and cozy, but I don't mean cramped. It was upgraded recently, and as you may be able to tell from the photos, the house is bright, crisp, and clean, with plenty of light. Everything worked well, and we were very comfortable, regretting that we hadn't planned for a longer stay. It's close to other houses on a cul-de-sac, but there's plenty of room around it, and plenty of greenery. Anna Maria Island is a low-key vacation place, without huge resorts, and with lots of modest cinderblock houses, and lots of people who love living there and vacationing there. We're among them. We'll try to return soon.

  This home is every bit as lovely as the photos! And the location is outstanding -- an easy walk to the beach, shopping and great food! The home is a hidden gem because it is tucked away on a very quite culdesac. Our party consisted on myself and another mom + our 3 children - and the house was a perfect fit. The house has everything you need to have a great beach vacation. Outdoors -- a place to hang beach towels, a garden hose to wash sand from feet and beach toys, patio furniture, a wagon to haul goodies to the beach. Inside -- TVs, great kitchen, washer & dryer, games, books, and more. If you visit Anna Maria Island - stay here (& have sunset dinner at the SandBar of course)!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
