New executive apartment in quiet residential neighborhood with spectacular water, city and mountain views. You are renting a lower level apartment suite in our 6 level contemporary home. It has a separate entrance and is very well appointed. There is some ambient noise but usually you will not hear us and we won't hear you. The space feels larger than 800 square feet due to the open design and access to the deck which flows out to spectacular water and city views. The large kitchen is furnished with everything you need to feel at home including the Nespresso machine! Kitchen has large custom armoire/buffet, telescope and more. The spacious bathroom has a full tub and shower. Washer and dryer included.
We are on the bus route and are across the street from a fabulous equestrian center, one block from a public waterfront park and one mile from two other waterfront parks, A short walk takes you to a prayer wheel sanctuary and steps away from wooded walking trails. We are 2 1/5 miles from Lynnwood Center and a small shopping area and theater. We are 5 miles from Downtown Bainbridge and 2 miles from Island Wood, one of the finest environmental learning centers in the world.
We have an additional bedroom suite on another level with its own bath if renting two suites at the same time is desired. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. You can stay for a couple of nights or an extended stay.

My wife & I along with our 3 year son had a relaxing and pleasant stay. Only wish was that the fog wouldn't have stayed around so long to obstruct our view of Seattle. Plenty of room and nice accomodations for the three of us. The owners were great to work with. They even had some toys for our son to play with in the unit when we arrived. I would recommend it to all our friends and family.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The view is so astounding, especially at night, that staying in a shack on the beach would have been fine! :) But, this is no shack! Nice kitchen with lots of equipment for the chef of your family, pretty bedroom with a double set of French doors (one to main view/dining space and one to hallway where the nice washer and dryer closet and the nice bathroom are). Sitting area behind dining area looks out to the view or a gas fireplace or watch a video. We suggest you watch some of the videos that are there, for you don't have easy access to some of them via NetFlix or any other non-island source. Extra blankets and quilts. Reading material. Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable place we'd stay in again and have already recommended to others. Really friendly, interesting, informative owners aimed at making your stay pleasant and fun. Nice emergency kit in the cabinet, and really cool lantern provided for our night-time excursions. Pretty landscaping in front of the apartment's deck. This view is not matched by another Vacation Rental on the island, we're sure. Great place to stay!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This is a beautiful place in a beautiful location with a great view. The owners, Stella and Len could not be more friendly and accommodating. The unit is new and quite large. It has all the mod cons and more and the deck out front is a great place to unwind with a glass of wine and take in the ocean and city views. They also have beautiful gardens which were brimming with hummingbirds. Very peaceful.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.

My wife and I recently spent an amazing three weeks here, and we cannot say enough great things about this wonderful apartment and its owners. The apartment has just been impeccably renovated with high end finishes and charming cottage decor. It is even more spectacular in person than the online photos suggest, especially given the stunning waterfront view that looks directly onto the Seattle skyline. Watching the ferries go back and forth, in the changing light of day and night, was truly mesmerizing. The apartment itself has been most thoughtfully equipped with all the amentities to make you feel comfortably at home. The location on Bainbridge is incredibly convenient to the island's downtown shops and restaurants, and there are also lots of walking paths and hiking trails right out the front door. To top it off, Len and Stella (the owners), went above and beyond in providing warm hospitality, making our visit truly special. We have stayed in many, many vacation rentals all over the world, and we would rate our stay here an 11 out of 10! We look forward to returning in the future for another incredible stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+.

About the owner: We are a retired couple very active in the community. Len is 67 and Stella 57. We have one small 10 year old dog a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named KC. We are avid travelers, walkers and cyclists. We work part time at a nearby equestrian facility.
Why the Owner Chose Bainbridge Island:
This is our family home of 4000 square feet and we added the apartment in 2011 to share our wonderful view and neighborhood and to have a place for a caretaker when we are too old to maintain our home that we love.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
We enjoy spectacular sunrises almost everyday and the scenery and view is constantly changing from sail boat races, shipping traffic, divers in front of our home to sea birds, eagles, osprey, deer, raccoons etc. We have even seen whales from our home on occasion. Our neighborhood is extremely quiet, safe and beautiful. Walking trails begin just beyond our driveway.
