Our stay here was fun. This home is well thought through for visitors. Especially good for families with the bikes, Xbox and computer and movies. Well maintained and equipped. Beautiful walks or biking in the neighborhood on desert paths. I had to refind my BBQ skills with charcoal but enjoyed it when I did. Safeway and Starbucks and great golf nearby.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Ann and Marty's home is extremely spacious and we loved the open great room. The bedrooms were separated enough so that the early risers did not disturb the others when fixing coffee/breakfast. Everything was immaculate. The pictures really do not adequately convey the roomy feel of the home. The picture of the kitchen with the two bar stools makes that area look small, but that is just one portion of the great room. There is an eat-in kitchen table to the side of that and they are both open to the family room. In addition, there is a separate dining room! Ann was wonderful in answering all my questions and what I didn't think to ask was covered in a binder (left on the dining room sideboard) that included maps, dining guides, and directions to nearby stores. Ann's attention to detail is amazing. The weather was very cold while we were there so we were not able to make use of the trails, but we did see nice bikes in the garage. Hopefully on our next visit we can take advantage, because I would love to return to this home that I highly recommend!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Arizona. The house was perfect for our needs and we will likely look to rent again for similar vacations in the coming years. Our only problem was that the key code we were given for the front door never did work, so we always used the emergency code. The house overall exceeded our expectations.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
Owner response: So glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for letting us know that you had trouble with your door code - w've resolved the issue with the electronic lock now.

We stayed over at Ann's Property and this house was amazing. Kids as well as elders loved it. Massage chair and Wealth of Games (Wii, XBOX) was a delight. House was immaculately clean and everything was better than expected. Would love to stay here again and will pass good word around.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The house was pleasant and enjoyable. The pools were immaculate and fun. The slides were not open the same hours as the other pools so we did not get to enjoy them each time we used the pool. The variety of Wii and X-Box games was awesome. The office was functional and usable and had everything I needed for the week. We visited the Botanical Garden, the Wildlife Park (a MUST see - TONS of animals), took a drive up to Sedona (lots of shopping but only other thing to do is hike or take a jeep ride - too hot and only one day so we shopped - rock formations are AMAZING), drove up to Lake Pleasant (took lunch and ate under covered picnic table that overlooked the Lake - did not go down by water as there was no shade unless you brought your own), and relaxed. We did experience a rattlesnake one evening by the garage in the rocks which was quite eventful. Suggestions: More info on area attractions, maps to use whlie in AZ, basic condiments in the fridge, ice maker working or ice trays. The overall stay was wonderful and enjoyable. Thank you.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: So glad that you enjoyed your Arizona experience. Wanted to let you and other travelers know that the icemaker in the frig can be turned on by just a click of a button (top of frig - click "ice on"). I'm sorry that I did not convey this to you in your welcome email. I have updated my template to include this now. Thank you so much for your review. Ann ~ property owner

About the owner: Home lover, I've outfitted with creature comforts to make your stay, like it was your own home. I love the desert, and the sun, and the trails in Vistancia, for riding the bikes around, and just forgetting about time ... and watching desert critters run around, you'll see lizards, road runners, coyotes, rabbits, pigeons and much more !
Why the Owner Chose Peoria:
I live in the PacificNW and the weather pattern there is quite rainy, and cold in the winter, so balancing life out with sun and warmth seemed like a good thing to do.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
I love the peace and quiet. I like to see the sun come up, and energize the electrons in my brain each day, and I like that in a new property, there is nothing to worry about or do ... but to plan a day of fun, doing something for me, be it cooking, shopping, biking, golfing, tennis, or my favorite swimming laps in the heated lap pool. I like to shoot jumpers on the basketball court, too!
