  We loved staying at Sandswept. The hostess and her pets were delightful, the house is a mid-century classic, and the beach is stunning.

  This home and it's especially lovely owner provide amazing views, comfort and unique experiences while in Virginia Beach. We saw dolphins playing close-by right from the dining room table. It's a very eco-friendly place too, so you can learn and experience what it's like to live/stay in a home that is harmonious with the earth- very cool! I so appreciated staying here!

  What a wonderful time we had in your house... The view here is awesome, beautiful, brilliant.... The house is a treasure and we could have the pleasure to see the dolphins swimming in the ocean while having breakfast.   It's been a wonderful week! We have certainly enjoyed Virginia Beach and your hospitality. Thanks for allowing pets into your home as our Yorkie has enjoyed her vacation as well.   This was the PERFECT place to have my wedding. We had the ceremony on the beach and the reception at the house. Everything was perfect, low traffic on the beach and the guests really loved the patio and the crows nest. Gayle was completely accommodating and really helped us to feel at home, especially in the kitchen as we did all our food prep in the house. There was plenty of room for everyone to mingle and the scenery can't be beat. It is a beautiful, wonderful, space and I highly recommend it for your nuptials or just a nice family getaway.

  I have known the owner for 20 years and have had the pleasure of visiting with her at this "jewel" of a home for many years. Seeing this home before and after the 2006 remodeling, I can attest to its unique beauty, charm and location. When I remarried in 2008, Gayle graciously offered her home as our reception venue, providing the absolute PERFECT setting. This home provides all the amenities, location and opportunities for a perfect vacation or wedding. All it needs is you with your family and friends to create an unforgettable experience!
