If you enjoy hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, or just a place to get away from it all, then this home is for you! Located in the heart of Colorado along the Continental Divide, this 2600-square-foot home offers a very private and relaxing country setting in the mountains.
Specifically, it's within minutes of National Forest land and Buena Vista's world class rafting, snowmobiling, and 4-wheeling. Fifteen minutes east you will find The South Platte River for some of the best fishing in Colorado. A few minutes further and you will arrive at Spinney and Eleven Mile Reservoirs.
"We think the views from this home are spectacular--reminiscent of places we've seen in Montana." Another family that stayed with us said "it is a view you fall in love with", and "It's great being so close to the National Forest. We love to hike."
Inside you'll find a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove, a full kitchen with a double oven plus a formal dining area. A roomy master suite and two comfortable guest bedrooms are located on the main floor. Upstairs is a fourth bedroom and spacious family/game room complete with sleeper sofa, television/VCR, wood floor, gas fireplace and half bath as well as a home office area. Two large decks afford guests additional areas to retreat and enjoy the spectacular and restful views.
Hurricane Katrina Housing Rates: $85 per night for no more than 6 guests.
