About the owner: In 2004 I started a Newfoundland travel company called CapeRace Cultural Adventures. Because we are a boutique low volume operation we often have availability when the houses are not leased to CapeRace. We were honored to have National Geographic and the Lonely Planet stay at our properties.

I can start my day with a 45 minute hike up Signal Hill by stepping onto the Signal Hill trail outside my door, or I can walk to the city and take in some traditional Newfoundland music at a downtown pub--Experience the calm and quiet of the former fishing village or the fun and excitement of the upbeat city.
The Outer Battery is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in the oldest city in North America. Hares Ears is the most easterly guest house in North America, with a local neighbourhood feel but just minutes away from the busltling city.
