Perched on top of the hill overlooking the ocean on three sides, the Gilliam's Village House is a rustic four bedroom house with one and a half baths, which still holds the country style of the village of West Point.

We are a "home away from home," having a comfortable living room area with cable television and a VCR. The kitchen is in a rustic image you will enjoy including a stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, and cabinets filled with a large selection of dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans. The kitchen also has a five-gallon spring-water dispenser. The first floor has a full bath with all your everyday necessities such as towels and washcloths. We also have a gas grill, picnic table, and outdoor seating is available.

Gilliam's Village House sleeps eight and includes all linens, as upstairs you will find four bedrooms with all the comfort needed. Bureaus for your clothes have been custom designed by a well known lifetime resident, also known as one of West Point's great fishermen. A great aspect of the upstairs is the crisply made beds with a nice breeze from the ocean blowing in from the windows. You will also find a half bathroom upstairs. There are ocean views from most of the bedrooms, and from the living area.

This quaint home may not be directly on the water, but as you step outside and smell the ocean breeze, just take a walk down the grassy pathway and you can spend your day at the beautiful Cat Cove Beach. Stop by and say hello to our wonderful friends at the West Point General Store which sits over the water. If you like lobsters, and home-made Maine pies, this is the place to stay. Surrounded by the ocean, this scenic working fishing village will give you a beautiful, and restful vacation here in Maine.
