Sandal Lane was a perfect choice for a relaxing week for my wife and another couple. The accomodations came with plenty of space inside and out to relax and enjoy the quiet neighborhood. The house is situated just a couple of blocks from the beach in one direction and the inlet in the other so one of your tough choices is going to be where do you want to spend your day. The beach even on a busy day did not have alot of people on it and the water was great to play in. There is a boat that you can take from the inlet over to Peanut Island for some more beaches and some incredible snorkeling opportunities that you really should not miss out on. There are a number of great restaurants in the area and Johnny Longboats was a place that was both fairly inexpensive for the area but definitely had some delectable selections of fresh seafood. The other one is the Sailfish restaurant that again offers a tasty selection of seafood but my advice if you find their regular menu a bit pricey would be to ask for their bar menu that is worth exploring too. I can not think of a better place to stay when on Singer Island due to the fact that this house had pretty much all of what we needed to enjoy our vacation.

We rental a house each March so that we can attend baseball spring training games. This house was perfect for our needs. The drive to the ballpark wasn't very long, the beach was a short walk away as well as good places to eat. The home was clean and well stocked. We had a very good stay.

Manager response: So glad you enjoyed our house as much as we do. We try to get there as often as we can. From the beautiful beaches to the gazebo on the patio, we love it all. Thanks

We quickly grew to love this home and felt it was 'our Singer Island home.' It is well equipped, especially the kitchen, for making meals: everything worked. Airconditioning and heat were both appreciated- breakfasts on the patio were peaceful and a great way to start the day... a hottub and/or pool would be an asset to this property, but not necessary, as the beach is so close and weather is superb. Close to Sailfish Marina, a pier under the Blue Heron Bridge for fishing, and Publix, for those needed groceries. Bikes worked well and had comfortable seats for touring and a little exercise. Furnishings were taseteful, but not so lavish that one was scared to be at home. Welcoming!

It is "a gem"
It is "a gem"
We travel with friends and for this trip we decided on this house in West Palm Beach/Singer Island that we saw in VRBO. The description on the site listed it “as a gem” and the pictures made it look like a strong possibility. Boy.... we were all surprised when we pulled up to the house and walked through it. The place had 3 bedrooms/3 baths and all were very spacious and comfortable. There are TV's in all of the bedrooms as well as the living room, which just so happens to have huge overstuffed furniture. You are two blocks from either the ocean (incredible beach) in one direction or the bay in the other. There are great walkways, easy streets to bike (they do provide two of them) and just overall very easy to get around the area. Locally there is a huge amount of things to do from visiting some incredible restaurants serving some tasty fresh seafood to boating over to Peanut Island which is just a short boat shuttle away. The island offers beautiful white sandy beaches and some of the most AMAZING snorkeling you will ever experience and, believe me, we have seen some of the best in the world over the years. You can find a lot of picnic tables, tiki huts and bathrooms for a very comfortable time in the sun. Make sure you go down to the harbor on Thursday night to enjoy the Marketplace they set up with local artists, great music and some great fresh treats like Grouper Dogs and Conch fritters. Most assuredly we will book this house for an upcoming trip as I feel like there is so much more to see when we go back.

A great experience on Sandal Lane
A great experience on Sandal Lane
We were thrilled with the house we rented on Sandal Lane. The house was very clean, nicely furnished with comfortable beds and couches, and well-equipped. The kitchen was lovely - it seemed recently renovated - and very functional. The kichen, along with the barbeque, made it easy for us to cook most of our meals at home. The bedrooms were spacious, nicely decorated and each had ample closed and drawer space and a flat screen television. The grocery store was only a five minute drive from the house and there was a Costco nearby as well so it was easy to get groceries, wine and beer. We spent a lot of time sitting outside on the patio, which got lot's of sun. The owners provided plenty of beach towels, chairs and even bicycles so we had everything we needed. It was great to also have use of the washer and dryer. Sandal Lane is a very quiet, well-maintained residential street and it appeared that most of the houses on the street are occupied by people who live there year round. The only noise was the occasional siren from the police station located a couple of blocks away. It was our first trip to Singer Island and we'll definitely be back. The beach, a 10 minute walk from the house, was beautiful and not too crowded, even at the height of March break. It is an ideal vacation town for families (We were two couples, each with a teenage son), or for couples, as it is not noisy and does not seem to attract the student/party crowds that Ft. Lauderdale or Hollywood does during March break. It was a great location for treks to Palm Beach, West Palm Beach and Jupiter. The Marina was only a few minutes walk from the house and we enjoyed a nice meal outside at the restaurant there one night (the Sailfish?). The neighborhood was very safe and I was comfortable going out for a jog alone in the morning or evening or letting the boys take the bikes for a spin around the neighborhood on their own. We would definitey recommend Sandal Lane to families traveling to Singer Island. It occurred to us that it would also be well suited to three couples, as each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom and there is lot's of space inside and out. We hope to rent the house again next spring if we are able to make it to Florida.
