In the Hawaiian language Hololani means Gone to Heaven and this spacious elegant home is truly a slice of heaven: spectacular ocean views and whale-watching from either of the private lanais. Tropical ocean breezes and panoramic views of two islands, Lana'i and Moloka'i.
Gorgeous ocean views from the living room, kitchen, and even from the master bedroom, which has its own private lanai. There are ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms to supplement the refreshing ocean breezes. We have a flat screen TV in the front room as well as both bedrooms. Our VCR and DVD player will round out your entertainment needs.
Newly-redecorated, immaculately clean, and well-maintained, this spacious, 1100 square foot, top floor condo has two bedrooms (2 Queen size beds) and two bathrooms (one with tub/shower, the other with a large shower), a Queen sofa bed in the living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, in unit washer and dryer, luxurious living room, our unit has FREE high-speed Wi-Fi internet access, phone for local calling, indoor dining, as well as dining on your own private ocean view lanai. A home from home in paradise.
There is a convenient elevator and stairway access to the underground parking garage, where there is a free assigned parking space. The property was recently re-landscaped, is well maintained and there is an onsite property manager available day and night, to answer any questions about the facilities and the surrounding area.
Relax... by our freshwater heated pool or tropical gardens, stroll the golden sandy beach, or snorkel in the warm reef-protected ocean. Located directly on the beach, our shoreline is at the mercy of Mother Nature and the tidal ebb and flow of the ocean with its matching wave action. A strong winter storm can shift our sand a few yards south until mid-summer when it will return. However, our location makes for a perfect position to take in and experience the beautiful sunsets, turtles, and, during whale season, the most spectacular show of whales breeching directly from either lanai’ This top floor corner unit location is truly magnificent. In the evening, prepare your dinner at the poolside barbecues and dine by the romantic flicker of tiki torches. Or dine in style at one of the fabulous restaurants a few minutes’ walk from the condo.
Location...Hololani is just a couple minutes by car from Kapalua Airport; approximately five minutes by car going north to Kapalua for The Ritz Carleton Hotel, shops, restaurants, golf. It's approximately seven minutes going south to Kaanapali for more hotels, restaurants, shops, golf. Old Lahaina town is about a six mile drive.
Activities...You may choose to go golfing at the World Class Plantation Kapalua Golf Course only three miles from Hololani, or visit one of the many other outstanding courses in the immediate area. Enjoy the fabulous snorkeling at Kapalua, Napili, and Honolua Bay. Surfing on both the south and west side of Maui offers gentle breaking waves, or strolling and shopping in Lahaina town is a must.

This is the only way to vacation in Maui....our 16 days flew by! Every detail of this condo made our stay comfortable, restful and memorable. Eight floor ocean view spans for miles.....Lanai, Molokai, jumping whales and large turtles are all magnificant. We did bring binoculars to get even closer views. Island themed furnishings are very tasteful. The kitchen is equipped just like home so 90% of our meals were prepared at the condo and we dined on the Lanai to take in the sunrises and sunsets. Pack lightly as there is an apartment-sized washer/dryer. Condo location is about an hour from the airport and we found ourselves making several trips to that area to shop at Costco, take a helicopter ride, visit the Tropical Planatation, Haleakala bike ride, and golf. Kahana and nearby towns/beaches also offer plenty to do (we need to return so we can do what we missed). Snorkling, windsurfing, paddle surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, sunbathing, fishing.....take your pick! An abundance of shopping areas are just waiting for you! Whalers Village in Kaanapali is an upscale shopping area you won't want to miss. Lahaina Town is a quaint area loaded with shops and restaurants. Just for a change of pace, we used the Maui public bus transportation to go shopping. The on/off and transfer system worked great - we almost felt like locals! The Maui Gold activity booklet is a great resource to planning your activities and also gives info on local festivals and concerts that may be going on during your stay. In summary, we were more than pleased with this condo for its amenities and location....a home away from home.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
