Location: Netarts, Northern Coast, Oregon, USA (Portland: 1.5 hr; 2 blks from bay beach; Cape Lookout 6 ml)

Accommodations:  House, 2 Bedrooms + Office, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4-5)

Bright, airy house two blocks from Netarts Bay and two miles of gorgeous beach. Near restaurants and small groceries.

The house has a bedroom and study upstairs, a bedroom downstairs, an eat-in-kitchen, and a wood stove. Most of the windows face south but are also shaded, so it is sunny and bright without being too hot. The house has been recently remodeled. It has hardwood floors (madrone), new cedar siding, and new insulated windows. The yard is fenced, and well-behaved dogs are welcome. The house sleeps up to five people. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, the other has a full, and there is a couch in the living room and also an air mattress.

Netarts is charming, quiet, and not over-built. It is on the Three Capes Scenic Route, so the biking (and driving) is spectacular. The bay (protected from the ocean by Cape Lookout) is beautiful and tranquil - great for children and dogs.
